Following up from my previous thread on why people still play imvu haha!

Ive spoken about communities, but have you ever met a partner on imvu? What was it like? Is the game purposefully designed for it? How was your experience on the game and with the person.

If you havent, do you have any crazy stories on your experience on imvu, anyone reaching out to you etc.

I took a break from imvu, and stopped paying for VIP which gave me multiple chat rooms. I've recently started playing again, and just bought a single chat room slot because I want my main public room back, but don't want a VIP subscription again. However, when I tried to make that room public again it told me that access has been revoked?

I haven't used IMVU since 2015 for the 1st time for only 1 hour. My home is Second Life.

When I see videos and pictures of IMVU avatars their size makes me wonder if the game provide UI measurements for players to use if they so with to follow of they desire for their character to seem to fit in the scene their in.(like a cough, or bed without looking like a small insect or an elephant).

In SecondLife, there are measurements available when selecting "edit shape". So some avatars there appear normal size, but of course there are plenty of add-on items to increase or downside beyond what the UI game gives.

So, tell me. Does IMVU have game measurements if so. Do you use them?

Is getting AP worth it for the sole purpose of more active chatrooms, etc?

Im currently writing an article on IMVU for a university assignment, and from the research ive gathered and the threads ive read online, it seems that people dont find the game fun anymore.

If you dont pay for VIP you cant afford a thing, the staff arent helpful and theres a major predator issue. But why do people still play? Are there any certain communities that people are still in touch with? have you met your current friends there? is it because of nostalgia?
