When were you able to walk normally again?

I had a meniscectomy for a posterior horn tear of the medial meniscus and resection of the mediopatellar and infrapatellar plica 5 weeks ago.
I’m still not walking normally. I stopped using crutches after the first week, except if I have to walk longer distances. I use them because it’s easier and I don’t want to put too much strain on my good leg or my back.
Things are definitely getting better, but I still have a bit of a limp, and after the first few minutes of walking my leg starts to feel tired. I’m just curious, when were you able to walk normally again for everyday life? And when did longer walks, like spending a day exploring a new city, stop being a problem?
I know everyone recovers at a different pace, but I’d really like to hear about your experiences. I feel like I’m starting to lose my patience a bit.
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply, I really appreciate it, and I hope everyone who’s recovering is doing well!
