[Online][Other][GMT+2] DM looking for players - The last of us - mini campaigns

Hello my name is Charles and i'm a 19 yeasr old French DM looking to run multiple mini campaigns set in the universe of the last of us which will follow different groups and factions of this universe.

The main localisations of the campaign will be Atlanta's QZ ; Eudson community ; New York

Be prepared for a hard and unforgiving experience with a focus on survival, combat, rp, story and expending the universe of the last of us
I am not looking for a specific number of players as it may vary between the different mini campaigns

The campaigns can either be through VC on discord + roll 20 or through text (in a play by text format)

All the campaigns will be connected meaning than what happens in campaign 1 will influence what happens later on.

Even though i've prepared a lot of content for this campaign i'm open to let anyone DM a mini campaign of their own at any point.

Here are small briefs of the different mini campaigns :
1 - Atlanta's QZ - this mini campaign will follow "regular" citizens of the Atlanta QZ in their daily lives, except that they've been selected to perform work out of the wall perimeter. This will serve as an introduction to the system and to the location of Atlanta's QZ. (5-10 sessions)

2 - A messy cleanup - this mini campaign will follow FEDRA soldiers who are a part of the "cleanup squad" a group of elite soldiers in charge of the most dangerous missions. This will be an introduction to high level and high difficulty play. (5-10 sessions)

3 - Fight for what remains - The 3rd mini campaign will follow "Vultures" (they're the equivalent of "Ravens" in other QZ), they're originally rebel FEDRA soldiers (also kind of like Wolves WLF) (5-10 sessions)

4 - The first job - This mini campaign will follow the rise of a new smuggler group who opperates in and out of Atlanta's QZ. This is the 1st half of a longer campaign that will be the culmination of everything that will have happened by then (10-20 sessions for part 1)

5 - Never look behind - This mini campaign will follow regular survivors looking to flee the city of New York and its dangers to join a rumored community called Eudson. This will serve as an intro to our second playground : New York (10-20 sessions)

6 - The last job - This campaign is the second part of "The first job" it will transition us from Atlanta to Eudson and New York (10-20 sessions)

7 - The price of survival - The 7th campaign will follow members of Eudson in their "daily life"
(10-20 sessions)

8 - Manhunt - This campaign will follow bounty hunters whose next target is located somewhere in New York (10-20 sessions)

Masks a New Generation, Sunday Nights after 9PM EST, New Players Welcome

Masks?
Masks is a game centered around teenage superheroes, think Teen Titans, or X-Men Evolution. Mix of grand heroics and exaggerated teen drama. Rules are very light and relatively easy to get into. Less about min-maxing or number crunching for the perfect build, and more about making choices that will impact the narrative in your favor, or otherwise make the narrative more interesting. It will not be constant hero v villain action. You are still teenagers with normal teenager problems, and those will play their role in the story. (There will still be a lot of fighting, but be aware, it's not the only thing that matters)

How we'll paly
Discord for voice
Roll20 for character sheets and rolling
Lines and Veils and X Card safety tools
Game will be 9pm est Sunday nights, sessions being roughly 2-3 hours long, played either weekly or bi-weekly based on player availability.
Session 0 for character creation and establishing expectations.

Meet the GM
Tennagon, Tenn, or Josh, use whichever. 28M, Neurodivergent, Aro/Ace, Christian, been playing TTRPGs on/off for about a decade, been playing Masks for a little over 2 years, having been a player in 3 campaigns and running one one-shot, this will be my first long-term game in the GM seat. Been watching/reading a bunch of guides, and think I'm ready to try running a proper game.

The Setting
Star Lake City. The most scientifically advanced city in the country. Flying trains, bridges that wrap around skyscrapers in organized chaos, neon lights in all directions. Thanks in no small part to the genius of Dr. Ivan Brians, CEO of Glass Industries, who also happens to be the #1 provider of hero support items in the business.
This city is also home to the world's #1 hero, Gold Star. The Symbol of Peace, the Pillar of Justice, the Man of Gold... has gone missing. No hero has commented on his whereabouts, and no villain has stepped forward to take credit for defeating him. In his absence, organized crime is on the rise, new villains trying to make a name for themselves, old villains coming out of retirement to resume their reign of terror.
That's where you come in. Stepping up where the adult heroes are falling short, and filling the void that Gold Star left behind.

The Story
My plan is the build the story around the playbooks themselves, with a few planned events scattered throughout, but not one pre-planned 'story' to follow/get railroaded into for the whole campaign.

Interested?
Reply below with your discord username, your preferred style of play, your experience with the system if any, preferred time slot (EST), and your favorite type of cupcake.

[Other][Thirsty Sword Lesbians][Online][CEST][Friday][12pm][LGBTQIA+][Wild west] fantasy wild west TSL game with a focus on relationships and feelings between people and what it means to be a person.

Me and a player are looking for a few more people to join us and play a campaign with the system "thirsty sword lesbians/powered by the apocalypse"

I am looking for 2-3 non-men who like women (men be gone) who are willing to learn this new system with us. We have a problem with people joining to play but then saying they can't play due to various things. I understand that things happen but it's very tiring as a DM to plan and then people leave, so please be sure you can play before you ask to join.

The game will take place in a world based on 1800 america but with fantasy elements. It's not high fantasy but more based on folk lore really. Magic is a normal part of the world and demons and magical things happen and exist but wizards and dragons are not :(. More world building exists in the discord server

I have been playing Dnd for almost five years and have been DM for the majority of it. I have now recently started to explore and use other ttrpg systems.

If the idea of playing with a lot of role-playing, having emotional sword and gun fights and lots of love both platonically and romantically excites you, come and play. ❤️

Recruiting 4 Players (TTRPG)

After a year of hard work, I am finally ready to begin my Stargate SG-1 RPG campaign!

I am now accepting applications for 4 players to join my TTRPG experience. New players are welcome, and I am happy to teach the system.

Applicants must be 18 or older. Applicants must be respectful and able to commit to a consistent schedule. The current plan is 3-hour sessions every other week, most likely on Friday or Saturday evenings. I am in the Pacific Time Zone and am willing to adjust scheduling depending on the needs of the group.

To apply, please send me a direct message with the following information:

Character Name

Rank (if applicable)

Race: Aturen, Human, Jaffa, or Tok’ra

Preferred Class: Diplomat, Engineer, Medic, Scientist, Scout, or Soldier

A 1-2 paragraph character backstory

Applications missing any required fields will not be considered.

Character drawings or AI-generated character images are welcome if you would like to include one but are not required.

We will be playing using Stargate SG-1 RPG ruleset by Wyvern Gaming.

Please do not create a full character sheet. Characters will be created together during Session 0.

You must be able to use Google Sheets, Discord voice, and TaleSpire. I have already purchased seats for TaleSpire, so no purchase is necessary, but you will need to download the free Guest Edition off of Steam.

I will review applications throughout the week and send Discord invites to the 4 selected players. All applications will be reviewed by 07/04/26, and Session 0 is planned for 07/11/26. Play times will be finalized during Session 0.

I am also happy to connect with other Gamemasters who are interested in sharing resources or discussing a shared Stargate RPG world.

EDIT: For those of you interested in Stargate TTRPGs feel free to join my discord. I would like to make it a place where we can organize, share homebrews and play!

What We Loved Was Not Enough [Online][Roll 20][Other][LGBTQ+ Friendly][MST][Bi-Weekly][Deltarune/Night in the Woods/Lovecraftian] Looking for 3-4 players!

The last time you were in Fort Moriah was around Middle School. Maybe your family got a better job and moved out, maybe you just got sent to a new home. Whatever the case: you had 3-4 good years away from this dying town, hopefully somewhere better. You lost contact with most of your friends here.

...But you have been dragged back. You're going to have to spend your last year of Highschool back in this town. Things haven't changed since you've left. That means this town is rotting. Decay has seeped in almost everywhere and it all feels foreign and wrong. Hopefully, this is just going to be one crappy Senior year, and you won't be stuck here.

Something is off though. Beyond just the rust and decay. Something is calling to you from the darkness. Songs in a tongue that sounds familiar and yet alien. The voices are coming from below. It's a dull buzzing in your ear that has just slowly grown in intensity.

It's telling you that you are imprisoned, bound, enslaved. It's telling you that the only way to find your Freedom is to plunge into the depths. Into a Darker, yet Darker world below.

Into the Völgev

System: Homebrew (Based on Into the Odd and NSR type games but doesn't use a d20)

Platform: Roll20 (text, sorry I hate doing voice online) + Discord for scheduling

Players: 3-4, looking for a small tightknit group.

Schedule: Weekday MST (Bi-weekly), looking for you to start sometime in August

My name is Cass and I've been a DM for a while. I have a group of 14~ people I usually rotate and play with, but I've been craving a change of pace with new players. I've learned that guessing the amount of sessions your campaign will run is a fools errand. So tentatively assume maybe...20-30 sessions?

I have quite a bit of this setting planned out as it's been a rather large pet project of mine for a while but this specific slice of it is fresh!

Tone: Expect a build up of horror and oddity. Things will start mundane and contained, but for how long? Parallel Reality Below where things work differently, and it's leaking.

GM Style: RP focused but I like maintaining verisimilitude of the world, I am not a story gamer kind of person. Rulings over Rules.

Also yes, there's a lot of other influences for the campaign, but I listed Night in the Woods and Deltarune because you'll be playing Anthropomorphic Animals. Make sure that's not a deal breaker for you.

I've also made a little Pitch Document to help sell the kind of vibe and theme I'm going for:

[ENG] [Weeknights EDT/UTC-4] [LGBT+ Friendly] [18+] Looking to Organize a Natural Fantasy or High Fantasy Group!

When: Weekday Evenings, EDT (New York City Timezone), exact day/time negotiable. Open to weekly or bi-weekly, but not interested in "Flexible" scheduling or monthly.

Length: 2-4 hour sessions work for me. Anything less & I feel rushed to get things done. Anything more & I start feeling fatigued! Would be happy with any campaign length the group ends up being on board with.

Where: Discord for voice chat is a must. Would prefer a minimalist VTT or no VTT, but open to using one if it isn't a resource intensive one. Happy to just use Fultimator & physical dice!

Players: 2/5? Actual player minimum/maximum can be determined by the group.

Game Master: 0/1

Content: Official content is fine, but I'd like to avoid Techno Fantasy if possible since it tends to be on the darker side. Everything's negotiable, though.

Themes: Community, friendship, PCs are true heroes/PCs aren't morally grey anti-heroes

Miscellaneous Requirements: 18+ years old (not interested in a NSFW game, I just don't want to be responsible for complicated themes minors might be exposed to, like death/violence), LGBT+ friendly, anti-AI, English speaking, willing to use safety tools

Cost: Free/unpaid.

At this time, I'm still not confident in my abilities to run Fabula Ultima again. I've ran it several times, including the Press Start, but it never really clicked for me as a GM. I much prefer being a Player! If, as a group, we're unable to find a GM, I would be willing to step up to run something very very very small/short-term just to test the waters again*.*

[Online][Delta Green][Fridays 6 PM CET] Impossible Landscapes & Other Delta Green Operations inspired by the X-Files and Conspiracy Horror fiction

Teaser video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Albop3XB8-o

Government agents investigate the unnatural. Conspiracies, cover-ups, cosmic horror. An anthology of Delta Green operations to lead us into the acclaimed Impossible Landscapes campaign revolving around the Yellow King.

🗓️ When: Fridays at 6 PM CET (GMT+1). 4 to 5 hours per session. Start late July, finish by the end of the year. 1–3 sessions per operation.

🎙️ How: Opt into standalone operations. English. Voice only. Discord & Owlbear Rodeo.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Who: Larger group of friendly, nerdy, queer-friendly people. Several returning friends from previous campaigns.

✍️ How to join: Apply by filling this form. Don't rush it!

HELLO, YOU!

Hey! I'm Max, a 23-year-old from Czechia. By day I study nuclear engineering; by night I run tabletop RPGs. I feel oddly nostalgic for early 2000s angsty-teenager music, I love pineapple on pizza, I'm a dog person but have opinions on pitbulls, I give death stares to people who vape or listen to stuff on the speaker in public transit and though I really am mostly straight, I do have a thing for Link from Legend of Zelda. Hopefully that makes it clear where I stand on real world issues.

After spending years behind the GM screen for 5e D&D, I've mostly moved on to games like Call of Cthulhu, Mothership, Dungeon Crawl Classics, and now Delta Green. Like many, I have seen the Quinn's Quest review of Delta Green (and the arguably better Seth Skorkowsky review) and decided that Impossible Landscapes is the new Everest I'd like to climb, but I want to do it properly - with this anthology of short-form operations, I intend to first introduce a large group of people to Delta Green, get familiar with it myself by running about half a dozen operations, and only then jump into the 10-15 session Impossible Landscapes campaign early next year.

For me, TTRPGs are as much about the people as the game. I'm looking for players who enjoy hanging out, chatting between sessions, and making friends—not just showing up to roll dice. It should go without saying that I have no interest in hearing the opinion of any terminally online alpha males, terfs, men who know a little too much about WW2, etc. Move on if you fall in those groups.

WHAT'S AN ANTHOLOGY?

Next year, I'll run Impossible Landscapes, a 10-15 campaign for Delta Green which is so good that it truly deserves to a group of players committed to making it as fun as can be, and also well organized. This anthology precedes this campaign. Together, we'll learn about Delta Green, make friends and those interested and capable will play the campaign with us next year.

The anthology is a collection of unconnected operations, each 1 to 3 sessions long. There are going to be about 8 operations between July and November. The group of players will be larger than one game can support (I'm thinking 6 to 10). It'll be like an in-house open table. By joining this cool group of people, you're not committing to being available every week for who knows how long. You merely should be there for all of an operation's sessions if you choose to opt into it.

Expect investigations, moral dilemmas, conspiracy, and horror where violence is often the worst possible solution.

Best of luck, and hopefully I'll see you at the briefing.

[Other][Online][CST][Dolmenwood][PBP] Dolmenwood Braunstein Campaign

Dolmenwood!

Seeking players for a unique campaign experience unlike any other!

Experienced Dolmenwood Referee, has ran and played in several Dolmenwood adventures and campaigns over the years.

New players are absolutely welcome! This is a great place to start.

We can help with accessing the basic rules to play.

Play in a Campaign Braunstein where most of the Patrons are played by actual players and dozens of other players roam the map

Basically like a pencil and paper MMO.

The book keeping is online for your character, play can be in person if you are in the local area near North Grand Prairie TX.

What kind of player am I looking for?

  • Probably not the best place for someone who can't handle a dash of male gamer culture.
  • If you can be kind and are here to game, it doesn't matter who you are, I want to game with you.
  • The game requires a lot of adult maturity and stability. Very mature and adult themes. Players have total autonomy when acting play-by-post including up to trying to bed the Baron's wife (without the details and florid writing), assassinating other player characters and making deals with demons.
  • Players need to have an open mind, this is a Braunstein. It's a major, dimensional leap forward in how an RPG campaign works and destroys some of the “sacred cows” of RPG gaming. I do not promise the outcome you want for your character, I do promise that those engaged will have open to them a vibrant and truly living world where it's elements are driven by players more than DM fiat, I do promise the seemingly impossible: total player autonomy.

(Online sessions are recorded and in person pictures are taken of the event to share. No one needs to consent to having their picture taken though just let me know in advance, and for online you may have your video off and go by a handle. Video is preferred, it helps!)

For examples of this kind of play check out our cross clubhouse play report on the Duchy Council here: https://open.substack.com/pub/otherworldclubhouse/p/cross-clubhouse-play-report-the-duchy?r=1fsffl&utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web

[Online][Cyberpunk RED][18+][NSFW][Play-by-Post] Looking for Story-Driven Roleplayers to Experience Night City

>"The city always wins. The question isn't whether you'll survive forever... It's what you'll become before it finally gets you."

Hey chooms,

I'm looking for a small group of players who really want to sink their teeth into Cyberpunk RED as a long-term, roleplay-first play-by-post campaign. If you're looking for a tactical dungeon crawl with occasional roleplay, this probably isn't going to be the game for you.

I want to tell stories about people at the absolute bottom of society trying to claw their way up in a city that seems determined to drag them back down.

The Setting

The campaign takes place in Night City, 2045, shortly after the Fourth Corporate War. The war is over, and no one truly won, but a power vacuum has emerged to steer within the streets of Night City in the aftermath of its wake.

The city is rebuilding, but the cracks are impossible to ignore. Entire districts are still ruins. Combat Zones swallow neighborhoods whole. Corporations are returning to reclaim power while gangs fight over the scraps left behind. Everyone is trying to make a name for themselves because, for the first time in years, there are opportunities to be found... if you're willing to pay the price that is…

While Night City is beautiful from a distance, with neon signs lighting up the skyline and the mighty corpo towers promise a better tomorrow. Every advertisement tells you that success is just one purchase away.

Then… you truly walk down one of Night City’s streets and witness the reality of this nightmare city: Someone's apartment was condemned yesterday, Someone disappeared last night, and their family is in mourning, and Someone sold a piece of themselves just to make rent.

That's the version of Night City I want to explore. With all its glamour, grime, hope, despair, and the people caught somewhere in between.

The Story

This isn't a campaign about saving the world, as this world's already far too broken; rather, it's about how one actually survives it.

Your characters aren't legendary mercenaries... at least not yet. They're the Solo buried under debt to the wrong people. Joytoy is trying to buy back its freedom. The Medtech who can't afford treatment for someone they love. The addict is trying to stay clean. The gang member is trying to leave that life behind. The person is living out of a car because it's safer than sleeping in their apartment.

Everyone starts somewhere, and in this campaign, that "somewhere" is rock bottom. The question isn't whether you'll climb. The question is what you'll sacrifice to get there.

We will start by working on individual characters getting into the world, their life, their relationships, and more, before they meet the other party members. They will then get exposure in a way that feels natural about why the party has to work together, and go from there. You may play multiple characters throughout the story, whether they are dead/temporary hiatus/retired, but you may only play up to two characters at any given time. This allows you to switch up your approach within the world as well as gives the party the ability to fill out certain roles for the group when the circumstances are right and leaves room for natural downtime for the other character between gigs.

What I'm Looking For

More than anything else, I'm looking for people who enjoy becoming their characters.

I want players who love conversations just as much as combat. Players who message each other after a mission because their characters need to talk. Players who create relationships, rivalries, romances, grudges, friendships, and history without waiting for me to hand it to them. Some of the best moments in roleplaying don't happen during a firefight. They can happen at 2 AM over noodles after the job went sideways, or when your Solo quietly admits they're terrified, the Tech finally loses their temper, or when your crew argues over whether killing someone was actually justified.

Those moments are what I'm here for.

Morality

I don't expect your characters to be heroes, and honestly, I'd rather they weren't.

Night City doesn't produce many good people. It produces survivors and monsters:
People who lie, People who steal, People who kill, People who convince themselves they had no other choice.
Maybe your character is already a monster, or maybe they're becoming one, or maybe they're desperately fighting to stay human.

What matters to me is that everything they do feels earned:

I'm not interested in random murder, pointless cruelty, or "that's what my character would do" as an excuse for chaotic or immoral behavior. If your character crosses a line, I want there to be a reason behind it. Every terrible decision should come from who they are, what they've lived through, and what they're trying to protect or achieve.

Because in this campaign, your choices matter: your reputation matters, your relationships matter, your humanity matters.

Mature Themes (18+) and NSFW

Cyberpunk isn't a comfortable setting, and I don't intend to pretend it is:

This campaign will include mature themes such as violence, gore, poverty, addiction, corruption, sexuality, romance, exploitation, abuse, psychological horror, and other dark subject matter that naturally fit the setting.

These topics exist to tell honest stories about Night City, not to glorify or fetishize them.

Before anyone joins, everyone will fill out the form covering expectations, boundaries, Lines & Veils, and safety tools so everyone knows exactly what kind of game they're joining.

We will touch base on NSFW subjects; comfort levels are noted. That being said, ERP is entirely optional and offered in private channels for PC to PC, NPC to PC, etc. Any public channel interaction would not be direct or explicit ERP, but rather a Fade to black after preestablished interaction occurs, and then come back for the post scene, and then continue. The Forum will explain more.

Note: This is not intended to simply get your rocks off, it is not meant to blur past character to character, if you push it towards the player to player or harass another player, you will be removed. This is meant to be a disconnect from player to character and let the character interact with their world as they desire to do so.

Rules

We'll be using Cyberpunk RED with nearly every official rulebook and DLC available, with the exception of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit (CEMK).

The game also includes a number of revised rules, quality-of-life improvements, expanded Humanity and relationship mechanics, and a variety of house rules that I've developed over time. If you've played RED before, it'll still feel like RED, but don't expect a completely vanilla experience. The additional ruleset will be available within the forum as a note.

The goal isn't to reinvent the game, but rather it's to smooth out rough edges and make certain elements more impactful and swifter while supporting deeper character progression and storytelling.

Play-by-Post

This is an asynchronous play-by-post campaign.

I work full-time, so there will naturally be times when I can't immediately respond as GM.

That doesn't mean the roleplay stops.

One of my biggest philosophies with PbP is that idle typing is the death of a campaign.

If combat is waiting on anyone, there's nothing stopping two characters from roleplaying breakfast before the mission, grabbing drinks after the firefight, making a phone call to a family member, shopping for gear, or just sitting on a rooftop talking about life.

I want Night City to feel alive all week, not just when I'm posting. The players should be creating stories together just as often as I create stories for them.

Who This Game Is For

You'll probably enjoy this campaign if you:

  • Love deep character roleplay.
  • Enjoy collaborative storytelling more than "winning."
  • Want your backstory to matter.
  • Like slow-burn character development.
  • Enjoy moral ambiguity and meaningful consequences.
  • Enjoy the setbacks as much as the wins
  • Adapt to pressures and situations that may be uncomfortable
  • Want to build relationships with the rest of the crew.
  • Comfortable with all types of sexuality discussed
  • Are excited to help create a living, breathing version of Night City.

If you're looking for a power fantasy where you mow through enemies and become the biggest legend in the city, this probably isn't your game.

But if you want to spend months telling the story of broken people trying to survive, chasing dreams in a city that eats dreams for breakfast...

I'd love to hear from you.

Here is the Forum Link, please prepare some time to work through this cause I wanted to be through for expectations and alignment up-front so I went in-depth on this with intention: https://forms.gle/xcBH9mwM8sea9kaU8

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitforge.mastersofdungeon&hl

Si jugáis en iOS, podéis hacerlo aquí:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/mg6UrBH9

[Online] [OSR] [Wednesdays 7:00 PM PST] Tomb Robbers of the Crystal Frontier | LGBTQ+ Friendly | Looking for 2–3 More Adventurers

"The sky has fallen... and it's full of treasure."

One DM and two longtime players are rebuilding our weekly Old School Essentials group after being defeated by the greatest BBEG of all: Adult Responsibility & Scheduling Conflicts.

The Game: Tomb Robbers of the Crystal Frontier

Schedule: Wednesdays, 7 PM PST

Platform: Discord + VTT

Commitment: Ongoing campaign (please be able to commit to at least a few sessions)

Experience: Some TTRPG experience is nice, but newcomers are welcome!

The Campaign

Explore a magic-scarred wasteland where colossal crystal fortresses crash from the sky, waiting to be plundered.

Loot impossible treasures. Scheme with strange denizens. Uncover the secrets of the Dead King. Try not to die.

The Vibe

  • LGBTQ+ friendly
  • 21+
  • PG-13 to R (violence, darker themes)
  • Creative problem solving > optimization
  • Weird characters encouraged

Want to play a classic fighter? Great.

A sentient enchanted hat riding on the shoulders of a talking monkey-lizard? As long as the DM gives it the thumbs up, we're here for it.

We're looking for friendly, reliable people who want to laugh, tell cool stories, and show up on Wednesdays.

If that sounds like your kind of table, send me a DM with a little about yourself, your TTRPG experience (if any), a character you've always wanted to play, maybe something fun you did at the table that makes you smile.

[Online][UTC-5] 1-on-1 Game [Flexible]

I have a lot of systems I'd love to try and although I GM some of them, I just don't have the time or bandwidth to GM all of them. The same goes with my campaign/character ideas/concepts.

So I'm looking for a GM who would like to engage in a collaborative, personal 1-on-1 experience to enjoy better pacing and narrative depth.

About the Player:

  • Collaborative and active
  • Lots of personal initiative
  • Respectful of others' time
  • Mid-30s
  • About 16 years of experience as both GM and player

Ideal GM:

  • Reliable
  • English-speaker (I can't speak anything else, unless you want to sign)
  • Any Experience Level
  • At least 25 years old

At this point, I almost exclusively play 1-on-1 and am willing to try a lot of different systems. My preferences tend toward simulationism and less rules-light.

A Few Concepts/Themes I Enjoy:

  • Intrigue / Politics / Dialogue
  • Occultism
  • Necromancy
  • Cosmic and Gothic Horror
  • Military Action
  • Empire-building
  • Business Management
  • Resource Management
  • Anti-hero
  • Emergent Gameplay
  • Sandbox Gameplay
  • Leadership

Please feel free to PM me your Discord info to discuss further and set up a call.

[Online] [DW / PbtA] [One-Shot / 2-3 Sessions] The Grand Hunt of Thornmarch

Flyers have appeared in every settlement across the realm.

Five legendary beasts stalk the wilds of Thornmarch. Each carries a priceless trophy. The Duke has declared an open hunt, drawing adventurers, mercenaries, treasure-seekers, and glory-hounds from across the realm.

Every trophy returned earns a ransom, and any hunting party that claims three or more may earn the mysterious Grand Prize.

You'll be competing against rival adventuring companies, ambitious nobles, ruthless mercenaries, and shirtless gnomes.

What to Expect

  • Fighting monsters - some classic, some not
  • Rival adventuring parties and political intrigue
  • A deeper plot to uncover

The Beasts

  • Old Grubber Jack, a burrowing terror that strikes from beneath the earth
  • Stormcoil, a lightning-charged horror that prowls the coastal cliffs
  • Vaelik, an invisible blood-drinker haunting the Veilwood
  • The River Kraken, ruler of the black waters
  • Ald Karr, an ancient roc that eclipses the sun

Looking for players who enjoy:

  • Roleplaying
  • Narrative-driven action scenes
  • Creative problem solving
  • Getting stabbed

New players welcome. The game is designed as a short, self-contained adventure that should conclude in 2–3 sessions.

DM me if interested: tell me a little about yourself and when you’re available to play.

[Online][SR5] Shadowrun: Gangs Underground

Hello there! First of all, thank you for taking a moment to read my advertisement here. I’m looking to run a game of Shadowrun 5th Edition. It will take place Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM EST, weekly. Or at least as close to weekly as possible, life happens!

The game will be set within Seattle, specifically the Ork Underground. I am taking some liberties with lore here, in that after Crash 2.0, the Skraacha were not able to consolidate and control as much of the Underground. They still exist, however so do the Trogs along with about a dozen other small gangs. Each clinging to a small area, and wanting to carve out either more territory, power, money or the like.

Which is where the group comes in. The group shall be taking the role of members of a small gang within the Underground. You have a small bit of territory, but what will you do with it? Enemies are on all sides, but so is opportunity. Will you make it big? Or go out in a blaze.

A bit about me:

  • As a GM, I try my best to give everyone in the group a moment to shine. I want everyone to contribute, have fun, and feel like what their character does matter. I sometimes fail, we all do. And if that happens? Just let me know.

  • I aim for a more sandbox style game. While the game is set within the Ork Underground, I do not wish for the group to feel as if they are railroaded into one specific course of action. On the other hand, the world is a place that exists outside of the characters. If the group starts something, or sets actions into motion and then does not check in on them? Those things will still happen, and without the character’s influence? It may not always work within the group’s favor.

  • NPC’s are no exception to this. They all will have their own personalities, motivations, goals and ambitions. Some will be nice; some will be mean. Some will lie; some will be honest. People are people, and I do my best to make the NPC’s people rather than just a backdrop. If the group happens to piss someone off, they are going to act accordingly! And sometimes, a path of progression might be cut short due to how the characters act towards NPC’s.

  • LGBTQ+ friendly table. I have absolutely no room nor tolerance for any sort of bigotry at my table. Now, I do understand that this is Shadowrun, and one large aspect of the game is tension between humans and metahumans. But at this point in my life, I honestly have absolutely no time nor energy for it anymore. It may be referenced at some points, but it will not be a major aspect of my game.

  • The game will involve homebrew and rules tweaks. Shadowrun is a game that is notorious for somewhat sketchy rules at times, and I have tried my best to balance things. I am not perfect in this, so much of my homebrew will be open to discussion. Some is not and will be firmly set in stone.

What I am looking for from my players:

  • Either knowing the system, or willing to learn it. Shadowrun 5th edition is a rather dense system, and sometimes rules can be complex or poorly worded. I expect players to learn the rules for their character.

  • Know how to use Discord and Roll20. Have a good mic, a quiet place to game (or at least use push to talk).

  • Over the age of 21. I am in my 40’s and would like some folks at least semi-close to my age bracket.

  • Working with the group, rather than against it.

  • Be a good sport about rolls. Bad rolls happen, and sometimes it does seem like the dice are out to get you. But overall, let’s keep complaining about dice to a minimum.

  • No lone wolves, murder-hobos, completely psychotic characters, etc etc. While I know that it takes a special type of person to willingly run the shadows, I want characters that can actually exist in the world.

Logistics:

The game will take place on Thursdays, starting right around 7:30 PM EST. Give or take 10ish, because life happens. I am aiming for the game to run for about 3 to 4 hours, with a hard stop at midnight. In terms of gameplay, I aim for a balance of rp and combat.

[Online][SavageWorlds][10pm PDT][Free][Inclusive] Let's Get Savage!

FAQ

  • What's happening here?

I'm running a weekly Savage Worlds game for a fine group of people!

  • Okay, but what is the game about?

To be determined. I've pitched high-concept campaigns before, spent a lot of energy homebrewing settings and fine-tuning rules, but this time I want to focus on finding players I really click with and deciding the campaign together.

I'm willing to run published Plot-Point Campaigns like East Texas University (I have Fresh Blood), Legend of Ghost Mountain, or Rippers Resurrected. Other published campaigns are on the table, but I have no desire to run Deadlands, Savage Pathfinder, or Savage Rifts. I'm also willing to cook up a homebrew fantasy, sci-fi, or science fantasy campaign.

  • When is this happening?

Two-hour sessions, once a week, starting at 10pm PDT. Day of the week TBD based on player availability.

  • Where is this happening?

roll20 with Discord for voice and between-session chat

  • What should I know about you as a GM?

I run a PG-13 game. I give and expect basic respect from all players and between all players.

I try to keep it around 50/50 action-combat/social-investigation. If your character only participates in one of those and ignores the other, I won't have a lot of sympathy for your boredom or patience with your disruptions.

Character death is a possibility, but I take pains to make it unlikely. If you ignore the warnings and refuse to retreat, the dice fall where they fall.

  • Where do I sign up?

Fill in an application at this link

Timeline

  • Week of June 22: Ad up, application open, reaching out on Discord

  • Week of June 29: 'getting to know you' chats on Discord, finalizing recruitment, Session Zero discussions

  • Week of July 6: character creation, start playing
