Looking to put together a casual meetup for Magahi speakers currently living in or around Delhi. Whether you grew up speaking it at home, are trying to keep it alive away from Bihar, or you are just curious to meet fellow log from Magadh.

Before I start, some things I want to clear are:

• I don't live in Magadh region
• Even my parents didn't live in Magadh region, they left it when they were less than 10 years old.
• Since my parents are from Aurangabad and Gaya, and my family is living out of Magadh region for years, so because of these reason you may find biases and having influences of other languages.
• And lastly I live in a neighbourhood where the population of Magahiyas are atleast 40%.
• The content below may contain mistakes, corruption or some kind of error, so feel free to point at them and correct in the comment box.

1. Present Continuous Tense:
   1. First Person:
      1. हम पटना जाइत हियो।
      2. हम पटना नयं जाइत हियो ।
      3. हम जाइत हियो क5?
      4. हम कने जाइत हियो?
      5. हमनी पटना जाइत हीं ।
      6. हमनी पटना नयं जाइत हीं।
      7. हमनी जाइत हीं क5?
      8. हमनी कने जाइत हीं?
      9. Note(1): In place of हियो, हीवा is used when talking to a senior and ही is short hand for both but is generally used only for close one. In short ही: casual/close ones, हीवा: senior only, हियो: formal one.
      10. हम पटना जाइत हीवा।
      11. हम पटना जाइत ही।
      12. Note(2): For हीं, I have not heard many variation but हिंयो is used sometimes as shorthand and while talking to senior only हीवा is used.
   2. Second Person:
      1. तू पटना जाइत हे।
      2. तू पटना नयं जाइत हे।
      3. तू कने जाइत हे?
      4. तू पटना जाइत हे क5?
      5. तू कनहु जाइत हे क5?
      6. Note(3): हे is used only for juniors or close ones or for casual conversations, change हे to हें/ह5 for equals or senior.
      7. तू पटना जाइत हें/ह5?
      8. Note(4): In second person plural, we only change तू to तोहनी rest will always be same
      9. तोहनी पटना जाइत हे?
      10. तोहनी पटना जाइत हें/ह5?
      11. Note(5): For highly respected person use अपने for singular and अपनेसभ/अपने-लोकन for plural
      12. अपने पटना जाइत हखिन?
      13. अपनेसभ पटना जाइत हखिन।
   3. Third Person:
      1. ऊ जाइत हइ/हउ। (Singular and equal/junior)
      2. ओहनी जाइत हथ/हथु।(Plural and equal/junior)
      3. ऊ जाइत हथन/हथुन। (Singular and senior)
      4. ओहनी जाइत हथन/हथुन। (Plural and senior)
      5. Note(6): ओखनी is also used in place of ओहनी.
      6. Note(7): You can replace ऊ from इ, and ओहनी from एहनी/एखनी.

So the thing is that as I most of the times never stayed in Bihar and mostly used Hindi even in my home with my parents that i know very surface level magahi. Nowadays I am trying myself to talk to my parents in Magahi as much as I know and They find it weird but in a different way as they think that Hindi is their actual language and what they speak is a dehati language. I do get enraged by this a lot and like tried to make them understand to respect your language. So please help me in learning my own language and let me discover my own roots where i truly belong.
