however, i never realized how insane the time signature changes are until i tried to start learning the bassline (i’m a music theory beginner lol). the song starts in 4/4 (typical) and continues on like that for a while UNTILLL about the 2 min mark where the meter changes from 3/4 to 4/4 to 3/4 to 5/4 to 3/4 to 5/4 to 3/4 (wtf) all within the course of SEVEN BARS?? it’s just crazy to me how gackt wrote the song to be pretty stagnant experimentally and then decided to go absolutely bonkers out of nowhere, i love it.

also please drop some recs for other songs (mm/mdm or rlly any other vkei bands!) that do meter changes like this if u have any bc i love to nerd out :)
