They Them the Pride Clow

*Clown
Made my first marionette and here they are. Their name is They Them and their pronouns are they/them. This was originally supposed to be made for pride month but I got around to it too late but that’s fine. They’re definitely not perfect and I’ll definitely do some things differently with future puppets but I still like them a lot

Stringing a top heavy head

Hi all.

I wonder if anyone could give me any guidance on stringing really top heavy marionette heads. I'm new to this. I've made this from solid steel, its the head of a fire spirit. I originally planed to string it using the copper wraps on the "tendrils" and the neck mounting hole at the bottom, but it's so top heavy that its not really working.

I would ideally like to keep the simple face clear from any drilled holes, but I'm not sure if that would be possible.

Has anyone done anything similar or have any guidance of what I could try? It took a LOT of work to forge, so would ideally like to have a decent idea of what I'm doing before I start rather than risking ruining it with something that doesn't end up working.
