Hi everyone,

I have around 3 years of experience as an SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Developer. My current CTC is ₹4.5 LPA, and I’m planning to switch companies.

I wanted to understand the current market salary expectations:

- For MNCs like Deloitte, LTIMindtree, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., how much CTC can I realistically ask for?

- For startups, how much can I expect or negotiate?

- Is a 70–100% hike realistic in the current market for someone with 3 years of experience?

I’m also hearing that the market is giving around 8–10 LPA for SFMC developers with 3 years of experience. Is that true? If yes, is it reasonable to tell HR that my expected salary is in that range?

My experience includes Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPscript, SQL, A/B testing, and campaign development.

Would appreciate real-world experiences and suggestions from people who recently switched. Thanks!

I mostly work in account engagement, focused on marketing automation.

I'm struggling to see the benefit of our team using agentforce versus connecting directly to the MCAE API with claude code in our test org.

If anyone has experience with this I'd love to hear! It seems like agentforce is very limited (even more so for MCAE than SF).

Can I still get interview calls in the current market with 2 years of experience? I’ve been applying for jobs but not getting many responses, so I just wanted to understand the market situation and what companies are expecting now.

I recently purchased an SFMC course on Udemy to learn Salesforce Marketing Cloud properly. The course content is good, but unfortunately they did not provide any SFMC practice environment access.

I really want hands-on practice with things like:

• Journey Builder
• Automation Studio
• SQL
• AMPscript
• CloudPages
• Email Studio, etc.

Does anyone know how to get SFMC access for practice?
If anyone can provide access for 1–2 months for free or at a low cost, that would be really helpful for me.

I’m mainly trying to improve my practical skills and prepare for interviews/job opportunities.

Please let me know if there are any affordable options, partner accounts, sandbox access methods, or practice platforms available.
