Caught a rare quiet moment between rounds and noticed the sunlight bouncing off the dial. The green rubber strap surprisingly matches the infamous hospital "grenade scrubs" better than I expected.

I think I’ve found the YM40 that is staying in the collection. This JH3235 powered Captain America is extremely impressive. The dial and printed text are the best I’ve seen yet on this reference. Also, if you’re having any doubts about the JH3235 (trust me I get it) - however, you should give it a go and see for yourself how smooth and accurate at time keeping it is!

Additionally, it passed the bath test for the little dude ✅

I ordered this AF Cartier Santos off Andiot and posted it across a few channels to get help with
QC. Yesterday I approved it for GL, but now when I take a look at it it almost feels like the crown is not in all the way, like its sticking out from where its supposed to be and im not sure if the metal is flesh to it or broken but it seems jagged to me. I don't know if its my eyes or if there is anything I can do at this stage but some help would be appreciated.

Edit: Im more referring to the blue crystal in the crown and how it sits on the metal. It looks off to me.

First Impressions:

Ordered this without massive expectations given the price point, but it arrived with surprisingly legit packaging — full Swatch official shopping bag, white box with "MISSION TO THE MOONPHASE" branding, and even a warranty card included. The watch itself looks decent for a budget rep.

What's Good:

• Dial printing - Clean and legible. "OMEGA" and "Swatch" are crisp
• Moonphase complication - Functional, subdials show Earth/Moon alternating properly
• Chronograph function - Pushers work, subdials execute their function
• Case finish - White ceramic finish is clean, no major defects
• Weight - ~28g, consistent with gen Moonswatch specs
• Strap - White textile, comfortable, impressive for the price
• Tachymeter bezel - Legible, sharp printing

Potential Issues / Areas to QC:

• Dial alignment - Subdials look OK but possibly slightly off-center? Would appreciate second opinions
• Moonphase printing - "MOONSWATCH" could be sharper but acceptable for ¥230
• Case lugs - Slightly generic, not as angular as the gen
• Hands - Acceptable but possibly slightly thicker than they should be
• "SWISS MADE" text - Hard to verify from photos, anyone able to confirm visibility?

My Take:

For $32, this is a sleeper pick. Don't expect high-tier rep quality, but as a beater or proof-of-concept piece, it's solid. Moonphase works, dial is clean, and the packaging almost makes you believe you copped the gen.

Looking for feedback on:

• Dial proportions vs. gen Moonswatch reference images
• Print quality vs. other budget reps at this price point
• Any alignment issues I'm missing
• Expected durability/longevity of the quartz movement
