HR notice of disqualification
For context
Did great at training, compliant and dies finish the tasks on time. Nakaka recite din
But previously nagkaron ng frequent power interruptions and it messed up our internet stability. Na disconnect but informed them naman with proof. Concern lang is my background and lighting was always tagged too pero I was able to fix this naman and di na ko na tag. Pero the part where I was termed. may reqs na need i submit and for some reasons hindi nag upload yung files ko. So i was disqualified for good na daw (sent by the training team)
May same encounters ba dito? Or similar encounters? Is this the end of the journey?
Also any recoms for other options other than HR that accepts fresh grads 😭
I need advice/ rant?
I’ve been working for this client for about 2 months now and honestly I’m miserable.
Before this, I worked a backend/admin role with no calls honestly preparing charts lang. I found a higher-paying job and I thought this would be my chance to upskill and grow, even though it involved calls.
My co VAs are nice and the provider is soft-spoken, so it’s not really a toxic environment (di natin alam baka may sinasabi iba tungkol saakin). But I feel like I can’t keep up at all.
A huge part of my job involves calling patients to check in, update them, and see how they’re doing. Most of the patients are already in pain or frustrated, so sometimes they can be really rude and instantly turn things on you or blame you for things outside your control.
I’m stressed about saying the right thing on calls, whether I’m saying too much or too little (patient centered si client gustong sinusubo lahat sa pt), whether I should address patient concerns myself or let the doctor handle them, doing notes and reports.
Every day I dread work. I feel like such a mismatch for the team and honestly sometimes I just want them to fire me because I feel like I'm the stupidest person na bat hindi ko ma getsss
At the same time, I dont want to quit because:
- The pay is good, and in this economy may karapatan pa bang mag quit
- My pride honestly hurts at the thought of quitting after only 2 months
I keep telling myself maybe it’ll get better around the 6-month mark, but right now it’s so bad that I cry almost every night after work. I barely have energy left to upskill or try new things because all my mental energy goes into worrying about work and I honestly worry my environment will not get any better than this, that I got lucky.
I'm not sure sa point nitong post, I guess rant na ito and I just want to hear from other VAs or people who switched into more patient-facing/call-heavy roles. Did it eventually get better for you? Or did you realize the role just wasn’t for you and leave? Does that even exist na hindi match sayo? just feeling na wala talaga ako karapatan maging choosey and just take this as a lesson or stepping stone to upskill. Always ko sinasabi sa sarili ko ang swerte ko than others dapat grateful ako.
My friends don’t work yet and none of them are VAs, so I’ve been feeling really isolated in this.
Pag ang api natutong lumaban, kabahan ka na.
Pampa good vibes lang sa mga trying to get hired for how many months na like me. Keep going! 💪
Honestly confused & grateful
Hi, gusto ko lang mag-share about my applications sa mga agencies. I’m grateful, but honestly confused kung saan ba talaga ako fit.
It’s been more than a month since nag-start akong mag-apply sa different medical VA agencies, and tuloy-tuloy lang ako sa pag-send ng applications during that time. Ngayon pa lang nagsisimulang dumating yung invitations for interviews and exams.
Ang problem ko ngayon is nagsabay-sabay silang lahat, and sobrang confused na ako kung alin talaga yung para sa akin.
Current invitations/schedules:
• SaiberAssist – training on May 25
• HR – QE on May 22
• GMVA – initial interview on May 26
• Direct client – interview tomorrow
Did not attend due to schedule conflicts:
• 360VMA
• Remote Leverage
• Go Hire Virtual
• Hello Taskers
I’ve already been through a lot of interviews, pero may mga invitations talaga akong hindi na-attendan because of conflicting schedules.
Anyone here who experienced the same situation? Paano kayo nag-decide kung anong company yung pipiliin?
Hello Rache
Hi! Just wanna ask if pwede magdecline if mahire ka ng client because gusto ng mas mataas ng working hours?
Will it be acceptable sa CAMS?
Pls help me
It is been two weeks since i was accepted to this job. super strict and namamahiya sila always ;( i have no exp kaya i am having a hard time to catch up. no training as well. we are obligated to be on cam the whole time, no looking down, no turning off cam even by mistake. everthing is so fast paced and they are giving me warning that they will remove me if they dont think i fit in the role of scribing.
i have been working my ass off to do everything and in first week. i am able to work in the ehr but with little guidance. it is really hard for me to scribe and follow what the doctor is saying most of the times cause she is really fast and often gibberish. idk how the other two medva understands her but i am asking you guys for help if you know any ai that is able to help me follow what she says live, like a note taker so i can have a guide. they dont allow captions in zoom.
i really want to keep my job. i am living alone and a fresh grad. i dont know where to go if i lose this one ;( pls i really need help. things are pretty tough lately and ive been breaking down before and after work because of their treatment;(((( i understand that it is because i am still new and i really want to i prove fast and to prove them right
cheap headphones with mic
hello. okay lang po bang walang headphones during interview? baka po kasi hindi makapasa, nasasayangan lang po sa need ibili ng headphones.
Help me decide ❗️❗️
I had an offer from a well-known agency as a Medical VA, and honestly, it feels rewarding to be part of it and magkaroon agad ng client a few days after training graduation. However, na-feel ko na sobrang demanding ng manager namin, and nakaka-overwhelm din kasi all-around yung workload na naka-assign sakin.
Now, I also have another offer from an outsourcing company where in VA din ako but may government benefits and HMO siya. Medyo mas mababa lang ng konti yung salary, pero yung workload, client, manager, at overall environment sobrang gaan compared sa current one.
Now help me decide 😩
Should I stay with the higher-paying job kahit feeling ko possible siyang mag-lead to mental exhaustion?
Especially na pagod na rin ako sa puro calls, and dito mas call-heavy talaga.
Or should I sign the contract with the new offer na mas admin-focused, very slight lang yung calls, may benefits pa, pero slightly lower yung pay? (Difference of 14k)
Hello Rache, pls audit your team!
I hope management can also take time to audit and assess the trainers and staff internally. The training process is very strict, so I believe it’s equally important for everyone involved to consistently model the same standards being expected from trainees.
For example, there are situations where some trainers come across as overly authoritative despite not always being fully compliant themselves. There are strict rules regarding backgrounds, lighting, audio quality, and headsets, yet there are also inconsistencies among trainers in following these standards. It would help maintain fairness and credibility if expectations were applied consistently across everyone. Kaloka yung isa naka-airpods pa.
I do not like din yung mag-sanction sila ng non-compliance kahit nagpaalam ka naman. Nagpaalam ako na mag-off cam ako dahil panay brown out sa Luzon. Nasa balita naman. They suspended me because of that. Nakakaloka kayo nga baks!
I also hope the PH Operations leadership can look more closely into these concerns. There have been instances where communication, including email construction and professionalism, could still be improved internally. Simpleng email construction hindi pa maayos.
Another concern is the growing number of trainees from different batches who are currently waiting for client matching. It would be helpful if there were clearer timelines and better support during this stage.
HI
is it fair to have a 12 hr bedside job and 8 hr wfh job just to get 60k net? idk 🤷♀️ wala naghhire sakin na mas malaki so stick muna ko to this one. what are your thoughts?
Auto note taking ai
hi i am new to med va. our doctor is really fast when throwing the code bills and diagnosis and gets mad when we asked about it again. may i ask what ai can i use to live scribe during our zoom meeting but they cant see it? i am not depending on it but i just want support for my work cause i am new to this and i am scared to lose my job ;(.
Ask Velma client
Been waiting for 2 months now and still no client interview. Idk anymore if I should apply na sa iba or continue waiting.
2 agencies
Honestly, I am in an awful financial situation right now. I am with a client na dati 40+ hours, ngayon 30-35 hrs nlng (or would sometimes ask me na 15 hrs lang for a week) kaya lalo akong nahihirapan. My skillset are not that great tbh, tapos di pa ganun ka special yung tasks sakin ni current client kaya wala talaga akong something special para sa direct client. Current client’s business is also not doing great, and I know anytime pwede nila akong bitawan na walang notice just like what they did sa onsite colleague ko na backbone ng office. I have been looking for a direct client since Oct last year kaso wala talaga eh, kahit 3USD/Hr di pa rin ako tanggap.
I am planning to reapply sa MMM, kahit mag leave ako ng 1 week sa current okay lang kesa mabakante ako, malulunod na talaga ako. Also been reading na sa current agency ko may mga na EOS na almost a more to more than a month wala pa ring CI, which is making me really anxious.
I can use my cousin’s laptop, para 2 na devices ko.
Honestly, grabe na yung down time ng current client ko, I have been busying myself with other tasks nlng kesa matapos ang araw na wala talaga akong ginagawa.
Let go of a direct client
Hi! Just wanted to get this off my chest.
So last week of April I got a direct client from OLJ. Offer was 5usd/hr with salary adjustment after 3 months.
They told me to purchase vpn, they recommended a certain app and I subscribed for 1 yr given they will reimburse it.
May 19 na and until now onboarding pa rin, nagkakaproblema pa rin sa pagaccess ng microsoft accounts saying na restricted by admin. EMR was ECW and the vpn that they recommended doesn't work. Turns out it requires dedicated static ip address. And now they're asking me to buy one which offers it and need ko ulit magabono ng around 150 usd.
I am pregnant as well kaya grinab ko yung opportunity kahit alam kong ang baba ng offer. This is part time only on top of my main client. Nagooverthink ako that time kaya ko naisipan magkuha ng part time pa, kahit sinabihan naman na ako na wag na.
Anyway, because of these hurdles, I decided to back out nalang. Parang wala pa yung work itself naiistress nako. Nanghihinayang pa rin ako syempre pero wala, ayoko na rin mastress 🥹 hinayaan ko nalang rin yung unang vpn na pinurchase ko.
HR overthinking
Hello, just posting here for my peace of mind siguro. I just graduated from the HR training, currently 2nd week after that happened and I still did not have any prospect clients. Nakakapanlumo minsan kasi parang nafifeel ko na parang di talaga para sa akin ang pagvi-VA. I know it is too soon for me to say that pero idk what to feel hahaha. For now, I am trying to be positive and place myself out there again, jobsite-wise. Guess i am still a greenhorn pagdating sa ganitong situation😅
Help: Prior Authorization
Hi! I’ll be working as admin, mostly for PRIOR AUTHORIZATION for Dermatology Clinic.
I have a question regarding the workflow. Here’s my question:
How do you know as HVA if a medication needs PA? How does the provider communicate to the HVA-is it through EHR like you will be notified?
Which portal do you use most often? Are all PA process thru portal or pwede call?
Should I call the insurance before submission? For eligibility check or not necessarily.
How do you send approved PA to Specialty Pharmacy- thru portal or email or fax?
Do you give direct update sa patient re: the PA status? email or sms?
Thank you very much po.❤️

Japan Visa
Hello! I heard that the embassy will contact your employer to check your current status. I work under the purple tribe. To those who have applied before, did you inform CAMs or the support team that someone from the embassy might be in contact? TYIA
