Phantom firmware update issue
I have a minorly inconvnenet issue that started this baseball season and I was hoping for some suggestions for a solution. Issue is - almost every day I goto connect to the camera for the first time I get a notification that my Mevo Start has a firmware update available and needs to update. I comply, wait a few minutes, the camera flashes some lights and beeps and then cycles, connects to wifi without issue and I go on with my life. BUT this keeps happening. At first I had thought there were a number of sequential updates that couldnt be skipped and I was catching up on a winter of no use but I have noted that it is asking for the same update each time.
I have tried clearly app cache, deleting and reinstalling. I have also used a pin to factory reset the camera. Neither helped.
Also noted camera connects to wifi fine but I cant get it to connect directly to phone for data over Bluetooth. Not a big deal as I have a wifi travel router that I prefer over my phone but nevertheless something is amiss. I get the message "Mevo camera has unsupported BLE protocol. Please update the application to use this feature" (Yes, I am on latest version of Mevo software).
