MF 3D Custom Shell Replacement

Disclaimer: never worked with DJTT and my CAD files were built from the ground up, I used the OEM shell as reference but didn't use any of its original measurements as to work as a fully functional and 3d printable project.

Modeled up a shell replacement that is slightly slimmer than the OEM shell. I also split the entire shell into 3 separate parts. As you can see, it completely gets rid of the rubber grip for the side buttons but I wanted to make this a complete replacement for the original. The middle part is completely optional to print for myself. It cost under $6 of filament if I can remember and if you print only the top and bottom, it was just under 7 hours with PETG. I bought new buttons and replaced the crystal clear ones with these "smoke" clear arcade buttons I found on this arcade fight stick website, each button was about $1.50 or $2.50 I think. Just wanted to share my final build of this. Going to order a crystal clear resin print of the middle piece to show off the interior electric elements.

Edit: just wanted to point out, I don't use this for making music or anything anymore. I use it for gaming like playing Rhythm games or something else that works with this form factor of a controller. I use a midi to keyboard translator and works well with no issues

Is there any way to remap the midi notes in the Midi Fighter 64?

I've dug around the internet and reddit for a way to do this and I'm kind of lost.

I have a Novation launch pad that I use in "User 2" mode. So it's more like a keyboard. I've also programmed light shows out of Ableton to it.

I recently got a Midi Fighter 64. I really like the buttons so much more. However by default the midi notes work more like "User 1" on a Launchpad. So the bottom row is "1-4" then "33-36". Whereas I want it to just be "1-8" across the bottom and so on to the top.

I'm capable enough where I can use a midi effect rack in Ableton to "force" the notes to play what I want to by using a midi effect rack with midi pitch applied as needed.

However this only solves half of my issue because of the light show aspect of it. It still receives the signal in the original divided grid. So certain notes don't output consistent lights.

I've browsed around a custom firmware forum but nothing there really made any sense to be honest so I'm kind of at a loss.

So, all that being said, is there some kind of custom firmware or something I'm missing in the MF Utility app that could change out the notes? Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
