Controversial Take: Leah

So, I just binged this show and I had to get something off my chest. We all know that Leah is a hot mess, is unprofessional, is not a leader, and has no idea how to run a business. With that being said, if all the nannies are so unhappy working for her, then why don't they just leave and start their own business? Why take over Leah's? And to then have the audacity to ask her for help afterwards and get mad that she's not just handing over all her contacts is wild. I actually applaud her for the way she handled this situation because I fear I'm not mature enough. I would've crashed out and told them all to F off. And I dang sure wouldn't be happily partying with them after they just ruined my birthday. And if Sydney and Leah were really besties, then Sydney should've talked to her separately and not let Leah get blindsided.

Plot Twist: it was Leah’s goal to let the scandal out on TV

Think about it- shows like secret lives of Mormon wives or suburban wives or whatever is all about swinging and sex scandals. What else is domestic and gets laid? This nanny apparently.

Why else would she put so much emphasis on it start to finish?

just binged all 8 ep.

loved the drama. thought it was hilarious and very entertaining. all i have to say is this: leah ended the show saying it wasn’t a failure, butttt i would pretty much consider this a failure already. at least in my opinion. us watching them abandon children and getting outed as a “father fucker” are like the two worst possible things that could happen. like be so for real girl… props to sydney for getting tf outta there lmao

Tamayah's Christian rant

Who else felt weird about the end of the babydoll conversation when Tamayah was blaming Sydney for not reading her Bible?? It's interesting that Tamayah's religion is a huge part of her identity, but that was only revealed in the group bonding game when the majority of her fill ins had to do with church. To me it was kind of a whiplash because we went from not hearing anything at all about Christianity to it being revealed that Tamayah is pious in that last 20 mins. I can see now that her "no swearing" policy probably has to do with that, but I was so caught off guard by the pointing fingers by Tamayah framing herself as a "good Christian" and Sydney as a "bad Christian" for not connecting with God. Her explanation of why Syd blew up really flattens the human experience.

Hannah

Is TOOO MUCH sometimes! And when they left Breegan Jane's house after the interview, her mouth was so screwed up I thought for sure she was on "something"... And she walks very dramatically, REALLY swinging her hips, and arms... Ohh and did I mention how her mouth/jaw is always doing "that thang" 😂

Who would have gone to Paris or stayed home?

I think going to Paris is a huge deal, I feel that Leah is being dramatic only because she can’t go. I don’t think she is being a very good friend.

When he looked at her like this

In episode 5, when Leah is explaining she basically got fired. I hope he is seeing her as the WHOLE problem. I hope he really is disgusted with what shes caused.

Leah - Kardashians

I saw a few people question if Leah worked for the Kardashians. I first came across Leah during the pandemic when she would post videos about being a nanny and vacations. Leah ended up posting a video with the kids, so I’m assuming the parents were okay with it.
(I scratched out the kids faces but you get the idea).

Why are they using AI in the confessionals?

It took me until episode 4 to notice this (probably too long honestly), but I noticed in some of the confessional shots the cast looks like they’ve been deep faked to look hotter…? I first noticed with one particular shot of Tamaya where she was doing some big sweeping hand gestures that do not align with how she speaks in non-confessional scenes. Then, I started noticing it in all of their confessionals. They all seem to have smoother skin and hair in confessionals and their movements are so odd. It looks like more than a filter or lighting. Hannahs hair even looks shorter (besides the fact that it’s curled sometimes and straight other times). Please someone tell me they see it too! I feel like I’m going crazy. I’m confused too because it doesn’t add anything to the confessionals and they all look better without the AI filter or whatever. This show is fake af anyway, so I’m not surprised. Just disappointed and annoyed.

Taylor…

The way she talks about Mitchell is how we women complain that narcissistic men often talk about their longterm partners. Usually it’s men who look at their female partners based on what they bring to them in THEIR lives. “I love that she’s so kind, and selfless, and does everything for everyone else in the family.” Like dude what do you know about your partner as an individual? Is she hilarious? Intelligent? Driven?
For Taylor it’s “I just love that he supports my dreams, and believes in me, and loves me”… like, what do you know and love and like about MITCHELL?!?! What are his dreams? What does he like? He is second fiddle in that relationship and maybe he’s so inexperienced that he thinks he doesn’t care but oh my god he is going to spend his entire life never being seen and heard and I can tell you that will get exhausting after a while.

Timeline

Oh my God, people in the show are just rolling in hypocrisy. I have so many thoughts. I can’t stop thinking if I was Leah of course I would want to have a good time in Ibiza, but why get shit faced the first night out when everyone is establishing first impressions? Especially why go so crazy when you know that you have a birthday trip planned for during this whole thing. If I was her, I would’ve kept myself to higher standard and then I would go a little crazy at my birthday celebration And show my coworkers a different side of me, where when it would be safe to do so, and not risk our professional livelihood. I’m curious the status of her business or her employment today? Also, if this show was trying to promote her business, why doesn’t she have a name?
