I am from jaipur and I got 41.5 k rank in jee mains last year metallurgy for mnit closed for 38.5 k rank but in 2024 it was 42k so is there any chance I can get that branch. I am a naive in this counseling thing please give some advice that would be really helpful.

NIT Kurukshetra – CSE
For context, I’m from Haryana (North India), so location and cultural familiarity are also small factors, but not my top priority.
If you had to choose considering long-term opportunities, placements, coding culture, exposure, and overall college experience, what would you pick and why?

MNIT, a technical college, will have the "Tech fest" of 2 days and cultural fest of 3 days in the following year.
