Octo4a with 500mb data partition

So I have a Raven 2nd gen scanner that runs Android KitKat (no root access), and it's really cool because it has 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 internal USB 2.0 port, and a USB 3.0 Type-B. It runs on DC power, so the I/O would be fantastic for OctoPrint.

There is just one problem: the OEM thought it would be funny to limit the data partition to 500MB, and then make a separate 4GB partition that mounts as an SD card.

Basically, I have plenty of space overall for OctoPrint, but it wants to put everything straight onto the tiny data partition. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work?

The first photo is of it playing subway surfers to test that it can handle a moderate program. The second photo is how I improved cooling so it won't studder, but using a large heat sink, MX-7, and rubber bands. Before it had no cooling. The last photo just shows how crazy this thing is for a scanner. I was able to connect usb hubs and plug a lot of peripherals in without power issues. And yes, it still scans papers even after messing with android.
