Hydration tips for the Columbus to Xenia section
Columbus to London:
For southbound, stop in the restaurants at the Georgesville Rd/Sullivant Ave area on Camp Chase Trail, it's the last retail (with convenient water) until London. For reference, it is 19 miles from Amy's donuts to Phat Daddy's without amenities in between.
Norman H via Facebook:
You can get water at park fountains at the London primitive camp area Prairie Grass Trailhead near the Madison County Senior Center, and in Cedarville, Ohio at a park just to the right of the trail when traveling westbound. Also in Cedarville, you can stop indoors at the Hearthstone Inn, the yellow building and they will provide water to refill your bottles or sell you some snacks energy drinks or sodas. They welcome cyclists as they get many of their hotel patrons from cyclists riding the Ohio to Erie trail and have earned a lot of justified consumer goodwill.
You can find gas service stations in west Columbus, London, South Charleston, Cedarville and Xenia.
South Charleston has Shoemakers IGA with bottled water, other drinks, plenty of deli food options as well as groceries. S Charleston also has Chillicothe Pizza Factory and The Purple Monkey Pizza.
