Whose side were you on this fight?

I love Marshall, he usually more in the right except for this scene and part. You cannot say you forgive your partner and still bring up old issues as a trump card. He could've accountability and said that he messed up but instead he deflected very immaturely. Not saying that Lily was right in saying he was more selfish but he was the one who kept it a secret. He did the same thing Lily did in s1. I feel the fandom tend to glaze his behavior even when he was in the wrong just because generally he's more good than bad but that doesn't erase the time he was hurtful to Lily.

Guys i have a theory

You know how the show is called himym? Well i suspect that it is an abbreviation of "how i met your mother," and by the final episode, Ted will have explained how he met a woman that he loves and marries and has kids with. Then they will reveal that the two strangers who we see at the beginning of every episode are actually teds kids and by the end of the show the woman he meets is their mother so he is their father and thats why he calls them "kids".
