OVH locked my account, won’t tell me why, and now I can’t even pay the invoice
OVH locked my account, won’t tell me why, and now I can’t even pay the invoice
Honestly this makes no sense and feels completely unfair.
My OVH account got locked for some reason, but I never received any email explaining why. I contacted support and was told somebody was “looking into it”, but meanwhile the account stays locked.
The problem is the password reset also doesn’t work because of the lock (or whatever they’ve done to the account), so I literally cannot log in to pay the invoice they want me to pay.
So now I’m stuck in this ridiculous situation where:
- They want payment
- I’m trying to pay
- But they blocked access to the account needed to pay
I even asked them to just send me another payment method or invoice by email and so far nothing.
I understand security checks happen, but locking somebody out without explanation and then preventing them from paying feels absurd. Especially when there’s no proper communication.
Has anybody else had this happen with OVH?
I'm most worried they will delete the account/server, or they have already without explanation. I've got loads of work on there.
PS: I'm not even sure they are really looking into it. They seem vague on whether they even found my account on the phone and haven't replied to an email I sent a few days ago.
