Drink water before sessions or after?
Starting next week. Should hydration happen before going in or does timing not matter much?

Have a business trip next week. Morning session scheduled then afternoon flight. Any issue with flying a few hours after?
Training for my third marathon with recurring calf tightness. Running coach suggested trying hyperbaric sessions for recovery support between long run weeks.
Currently at 50 to 60 miles weekly with long runs hitting 18 to 20 miles. Recovery between hard efforts has been slower this training cycle.
For distance runners using this, how did you schedule sessions around training? Recovery days, after hard workouts, during taper week?
Curious if you noticed improvements in recovery markers. Soreness duration, readiness for next workout, overall fatigue management?
Planning to start after my next rest week and track how it affects training progression.
Did sessions for 6 months with good results for fibromyalgia. Had to stop for an unrelated surgery and recovery. Been 2 months without sessions. Starting back tomorrow and curious how quickly benefits might return. My symptoms have increased during the break which is expected. For people who have taken breaks and restarted, did benefits come back faster the second time or was it like starting fresh? Trying to set realistic expectations for the restart.
Doctor suggested hyperbaric therapy as an option for my chronic migraines. I have an initial consultation scheduled and want to come prepared with good questions.
I have been reading research on the mechanisms. Some research shows significant reduction in migraine frequency and intensity. I am optimistic about trying this as part of my migraine management plan.
Questions I am planning to ask:
What frequency and duration do you recommend for migraine management?
How long before most people notice changes in migraine patterns?
Should I continue my current migraine medications during treatment?
What metrics should I track to evaluate if this is helping?
What other questions would be useful to ask at the initial consultation? For people using this for migraines specifically, what do you wish you had asked or known before starting?
Looking forward to trying this new approach and seeing if it helps my migraine management.
Need to do sessions 3 times weekly during work hours. Nervous to ask my boss for schedule flexibility. Has anyone requested workplace accommodations for this? How did that conversation go?
On BP medication taken in morning. Sessions are scheduled for 8am. Should I take meds before going or wait until after? Clinic did not specify.
For those doing regular sessions, what do you do with the time? Read, listen to music, sleep, meditate? Looking for ideas to make the time productive or at least pass faster.
Hey folks,
Help me out. I'm trying buy an oxygen concentrator for my mum overseas (paying out of pocket).
I'm a US citizen. I was just told that the FDA monitors companies selling medical devices and that they're only allowed to sell oxygen concentrators if the prescription is written by a doctor in the US.
Is that correct?
I have a background in biology and like to approach health decisions methodically. Starting sessions next month for wound healing and want to set up good tracking from day one. Planning to document wound measurements, pain levels, and healing progress with photos. Also tracking sleep quality, energy levels, and overall function to see if there are additional benefits beyond the primary goal. For people who track their progress systematically, what measurements have been most useful? What do you wish you had tracked from the beginning that you did not think of initially? Also curious about optimal timing for measurements. Daily tracking, weekly, bi weekly? Trying to find the balance between enough data points and not making it overwhelming. Planning to give this a solid 12 week trial with consistent sessions and detailed tracking. Looking forward to starting this journey with a solid measurement framework in place.
