i know weird people exist everywhere; but my experience living here has just gotten worse. i’m in my early 20s, and there just doesn’t seem to be a profound sense of community or social safety.

i’m trying to be more open to different experiences, event groups with people closer to my age. there is just a lot of opportunism, and many uncomfortable experiences, even in potential friendships.

i don’t want to include uncomfortable staring from people outside of my age group, but it does wear on me, especially with the current social messaging that can encourage these pursuits for gain.

i had a better time when i was attending college locally, but it was still difficult to sift through. curious to know if anyone’s had better experiences living elsewhere, or if you’re similar in age and having a better time here.

Hi! When I get my eyebrows done, I try to reshape my arch instead of just a clean up and am looking for a place that’ll do that, nothing crazy. Thank you guys!

Obviously it's hot most of the year, but is there anything you do differently from June-Sept?

Are Palm Beach Schools on a hiring freeze? I’m an experienced teacher moving from New England and I have applied for 15+ jobs and haven’t heard anything back. I know Broward was in a hiring freeze this past year.

Does anyone have experience or information on The Weiss School?

Nyer here who is actively looking at condos and townhouses in Palm Beach county. I’ve narrowed it down (which I realize is not by much) to spots west of 95 in Delray, Boca, Boynton, West Palm. Also looking at Abacoa in Jupiter. I’m mid-30s, single and female. Not big into boating or outdoorsy activities but love the beach, dining out and fitness.

Since I won’t know anyone in the area, I want a city that has enough going on where I can build a community. And yes I know nothing compares to NYC in terms of walkability and activities at all times. Help rank these for me? Also any that are just “sleepy” or mostly families would be helpful to know too.

hi guys so i know that the portugal national team is staying in palm beach and they haven’t been playing well does anyone know why? and has anyone seen them lurking around or anything cause its not normal that they are playing like that and on their day off do you see them can anyone spill the tea?

Could anyone tell us casual quick bite restaurants we wouldn’t have to dress up for on the island. We are staying on palm beach island and not renting a car so prefer not to leave the island

I know there's virtually no bouldering or climbing in palm beach (closest is like 45 min away I think) but I would love to get together with some climbers to try to do some activities or get to know the community better. Maybe we can start a facebook page or something!
