Restored and heavily modified this nasty old pre dell Alienware Area 51 7501 p2 I got on Facebook marketplace. I've always dreamed of having one since I was a kid. I cut the case for an aio and made the side grills functional where I added a 140mm intake. Temps are good.

Color is a modified plum crazy purple with a candy clear that has hints of blue. Pictures show the before condition as well as a full parts list and rough cost total. Still waiting on the cables for drive bays and USB extension for that last visible cable behind the PC.

I guess you could call it a hot rod or restomod? Making a YouTube video soon. How did I do for my first PC? Tips? Anything you would change?

DAMN I love my P.C.

Got a new pc! RTX 5080 with a 9800X3D. What game could I use to really push this thing? Or what game can be heavily modded to do so?

Decided to jump back to an ATX build after being exclusively SFF for the last several years. Just kind of got tired of how annoying doing anything inside my system got with ITX cases. I forgot how easy building in a mid-tower was.

Originally I had migrated my 240mm AIO over to this case but noticed I had some resonant whine coming from the pump, so I swapped to this 280mm unit and it solved it.

I looked for some GPU support options that would work in this case, but couldn’t find anything that was really ideal. Given the air scoop at the front for the bottom fan, it didn’t really allow for any kind of threaded stand like you find on Amazon. Ultimately I decided to model and print my own that mounts via the front fan mounting rails. All I needed was a couple of longer fan screws.

Temperatures while gaming are insanely good and the system is inaudible under load.

Gaming Temperatures-

GPU: 55-59C
VRAM: 58-62C

300 G2 fans (mostly p/p packs but a standard on each end, opposite ends on the rad), yeah I know it’s not an LC but I really had to justify a p/p setup and a 38mm rad did. Maybe an sff with an LC in the future.
A lot of people saying it’s overkill for a 7800x3d, yes it is. I want to be ready for Medusa but enjoy low rpm while I wait

Here's my most recent build. Called UNIT-02 (title wrong oops). Have custom glass panels and side panels coming in (evangelion themed). Will post when lighting and everything is working.

My two most recent rigs, I am guessing most people will prefer the custom loop over the cookie cutter vision compact build! but good god I enjoy the clean aesthetics!

Between the rx 9070 and 7900xtx what would be the better GPU to get for someone who likes playing mostly single player games like black myth wukong and resident evil (high textures, etc) but also wants high frame rates at 1440p and even 4k?

Finally did the last changes I wanted with my build in this case.

Changed PSU to a Corsair SF1000 from Corsair RM1000x (2015), bought a SFX PSU bracket and dual 120mm front fan bracket from Etsy. I know I didn’t need to for my build, but it’s what I wanted to do to finish it entirely.
