Looking for Second-Hand Furniture & Appliances

After a long search, my partner and I have finally found a place we can call our own.
The flat is sorted, but it’s completely unfurnished, so now comes the fun part of slowly turning it into a home. 😄
We’re currently looking for good-condition second-hand wardrobes, dining table, chairs, study table, fridge, washing machine, microwave, TV, or other useful home essentials.
If you or someone you know is selling any of these at a reasonable price, feel free to DM me. We’d be happy to give them a new home rather than buying everything brand new.
Excited for this new little chapter of our lives. 🏡❤️

I tried OLX/facebook marketplace but it is spammed with ads or unrealistic prices.

2018 cafes that we lost along the way…

Does anyone else remember the old café spots in Ahmedabad that eventually shut down? 🥹

Around 2018 to 2019, there were so many OG places that felt like the spots to be at.
As Ahmedabad’s café culture was really picking up then.

Zero Gravity Cafe at Navrangpura?
Not the company.

Café Niro at Commerce Six Road
Those massive, cheesiest fries 🤌🏻😭

Burgerlicious
Their packaging and burgers 🫡
Started at Law Garden, then moved to Vijay Cross Road, and eventually just disappeared.

And Hoggers Den in Kudasan 🤌🏻🥹
I was a loyal customer for their wraps. Then things changed.

I don’t even know if some of these owners moved on to other businesses or if the cafés just quietly faded out with time and the newer aesthetic café wave.
But sometimes I genuinely wonder, does anyone else remember these places the way I do?
These were more than just cafés. They were little chapters of our lives.

If you remember any of these, or have another OG Ahmedabad café that disappeared, drop it below.
Would love to know what happened to them and hear the memories people made there ❤️

Cafe recommendations for working at SBR

I am looking for cafes where you can work for longer duration at affordable rates. Preferably cafes where only singles are working. I don't want to feel jealous by looking at those couples giggling in public.

Views about Maninagar

Hey there!

I am 26M living in Maninagar area. My whole life I have been living in this area. I was living abroad for the last 4 years but still somehow my heart was here in Maninagar.

I want to know how do the people from other areas feel about Maninagar. I understand it doesn't look as lavished and shining like some newly developed regions in our ahmedabad, but for me Maninagar is one of the nicest, safest and most affordable area in whole urban Ahmedabad.
