Hello! I currently have the carrier aura inverter. Unfortunately, 5months palang samin nagka corrosion na yung evaporator. 2 years later need na palitan talaga after multiple repairs. I’m very tired of it and hindi na covered ng warranty.
I’m looking to switch to a window type AC na anti-corrosive 1.5 HP. I would appreciate your suggestions! Thank you!

Hi guys! Need some advice on aircon sizing.
Our condo has two bedrooms (5 sqm each) and a combined sala + kitchen that’s around 13 sqm. The ceiling is pretty low, so the overall air volume isn’t that big.
The problem is the sala doesn’t have an aircon provision, so I can’t install a separate AC there.
For now, I’m only planning to install an AC in one of the bedrooms. I feel like a 1 HP unit might be overkill for a 5 sqm bedroom, but I’m also thinking of leaving the bedroom door open sometimes so it can help cool the sala area (13 sqm) too.
Would it make more sense to get a 1 HP instead of a 0.8 HP?
I also don’t know yet how often I’ll actually use it to cool the sala. Most of the time, it’ll probably just be for nighttime use in the bedroom.
For those who have a similar setup, will my electric bill be significantly higher if I get a 1 HP and mostly use it only for the bedroom? Or should I just stick with a 0.8 HP and accept that it probably won’t be enough if I want some cooling in the sala?
Would appreciate your thoughts and real-world experiences. Thanks!
I have recently rented a 19 sqm bare apartment unit and I'm planning to buy a new aircon. Meron nang butas agad pero yung sukat ay 46cm x 36 cm. So I narrowed down my options to units measuring 45 cm x 35 cm. Ito yung mga nakita ko so far na 1HP:
- Panasonic CW-U921JPH
- Kolin KA100MCARINV32
- Fujidenzo IWAR-100GC
Panasonic is a bit pricey. I've read good reviews about Kolin pero wala masyado for Fujidenzo. Is Panasonic really better than the other two?
Hi, any recommendation for an AC with the room being 22 sqm and a height of 3m. This is roughly the shape of the master bedroom in the second floor, there's no direct sunlight into the room from the window. From I've researched I need a 2hp but if a 1.5hp can cool down the room that'll be better. Any product would do and if you can state why that'll be awesome
* have at least two doors or compartment for freezer and refrigeration
* can freeze ice bags within 8-10 hrs
* can chill some bottles like soft drinks and some 1 liter beverages
* is at least 10 cu. ft
* to be used in a small business setting
* durable or could last at least 5 years

Pang maliit na tindahan sana yung gamit nito kasi nagsisimula nang mag break down yung gamit namin ngayon. May chiller kami pero karamihan nung space ng ref ay pang mga de bote.

Sabi ng mga pinagtanungan namin, marami raw yung pinagbabawal yung paggamit nung ref sa mga small business set up kaya nandoon yung "not made by Samsung", dagdag na rin rito na may Samsung ref kami nag tagal lang ng isang taon, kaso hindi raw covered ng warranty yung sira.
Any recommendations for the best aircon brands and models here in the Philippines? We had two Daikin split ACs both prince and 1.5-2hp and both had their indoor coils leak in 4 years and the other 3 years and 7 months of 20 hours of daily use since. I want to find better ones that would suit us as long as possible without being too costly in repairs or don't break down too fast or can last over 4 years without any problems. I'm eyeing Panasonic or Mitsubishi but I can't decide. We actually purchased a 1.5hp Panasonic but it's only 2 months of once a week use so we can't decide if the brand is reliable enough.
Ps: I'm also seeing other chinese brands like AUX or Midea claiming they are more durable than Daikin but please let me know the best brands and models. TYIA!

At yung di sana biglang ang daming additional na kailangan bilin pag mag-iinstall na. When buying aircon, is goldfin or bluefin a must have for you? Because i think durability of an aircon is almost always an issue for me especially i have experience occurences where freon is leaking because of holes in the copper tube.

Leaning towards Kolin Quad kasi higher CSPF rating, low noise level and cheaper. But I’m afraid magsisi kasi recommended ng salesman Carrier brand daw. Quality wise ekis na ba si Kolin? Please influence/deinfluence me which one to buy. Thank youuuu!!
I’ve been researching about midea but the salesman told me to consider Kolin since di naman masyado malayo ang price nila and maliiy lang naman yung room ko. Besides, yung Energy label and efficiency mas lamang talaga ang Kolin. By the way, this will be my first aircon so if you have tips on how to save energy might as well share it.
