The trailer for Ramayana is likely to arrive on July 2nd or 3rd, and honestly, I'm very curious to see what they've been cooking.

Usually I try to keep expectations in check, but after all the buzz around the glimpse and the amount of money and effort reportedly going into this project, I'm genuinely excited to see what the final product looks like.

The biggest thing for me is the VFX. The film is backed by DNEG, the studio that has worked on films like Dune, Interstellar, Blade Runner 2049, and multiple Oscar-winning projects. If the visuals land the way they're being promised, this could easily be one of the most visually ambitious Indian films ever made.

Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Yash as Ravan, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman on music—on paper, it sounds massive. Now the trailer has to prove that the hype is justified.

Maddock Films has unveiled the teaser of Prahaar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story, starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead.

Directed by Avinash Arun, the film is inspired by the life and work of renowned public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam and is said to focus on some of the most significant legal battles in recent Indian history, including the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Also featuring Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaideep Ahlawat, the film appears to be a serious courtroom drama rather than a conventional biopic, with Rajkummar taking on one of the most intense roles of his career. The film is scheduled to release on August 7, 2026.

According to recent reports, Ranveer Singh has reportedly earned around ₹325 crore from the Dhurandhar franchise through a profit-sharing deal, making him the highest-paid actor in India.

The reported figure is said to be higher than what stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, and Prabhas have earned from their recent blockbusters.

it's a huge achievement, especially considering how much discussion there was around Ranveer's box office pull just a few years ago.

Telugu film Peddi collected Rs. 8 crore approx at the Indian box office during its third weekend, which takes its running total to Rs. 273 crore approx after eighteen days in release. “My manager ran away. He said, ‘You’re not serious about your career, and I can’t represent someone who’s a mother at 24. Character roles bhi nahi milenge aapko.’ He ran away, and I was like, good riddance to bad rubbish. I was quite okay with it. And you won’t believe it - after I became a mother, I gave my biggest hits.”

She went on to explain that she refused to let industry expectations dictate her life, choosing instead to follow her own path.

“But what it did take was to say, these are the rules - you take them, or you leave them. And my thing was, I’m a self-made woman. I don’t have godfathers. Nobody gave me a platform. I did everything on my own. So your rules don’t apply to me. My rules apply to me. So my rule says, this is what I want to do. I want to be a young mother. And I do not want to be incapacitated in any way so as to be able to look after this child and give this child the best childhood possible. And so that was the time, and it worked out, thankfully. It took a lot, but it did work out.”
