The goal is simply to get an opinion on my case, not to show off, I'm clarifying because it might seem a bit like that 😅

I have a PSP 1000 model with IPS screen.

When i go to themes, there a lot of squares with shadows where it supposed to be colors, the theme does change if I pick it, but its kinda weird

Also, for every game there's a corrupted data file

The 1st thing happens with or without MStick in it

Any suggestion or guidance?

i followed this mr mario tutorial video and now im pretty sure my go is bricked. i dont remember exactly what hack i was using before i tried installing ark5 yesterday, i just know i was already on 6.61 and it was an infinity hack that i installed in like 2021. it wasnt one of the other ones mr mario mentions in this video. i tried finding a psp go specific video that mentioned my cfw specifically but i couldnt find one.

mr mario did not mention anything about how infinity interferes with how cipl works, i had to find this out the hard way when i couldnt get it to work. mr mario also did not make it clear that for the go all the mod files need to be copied to the sd card, and NOT the internal storage, i also had to learn this the hard way. after installing cipl the incorrect way i thought i softbricked my system because the screen would turn on and the green wifi and blue bluetooth led would turn on then the system would shut off. i learned that pressing the ps button while turning it on got me back to the xmb, so that was a problem avoided.

once i figured all those things out and removed infinity, everything worked perfectly fine and i played the go for an hour with ark5 and everything working perfectly then turned it off. the next day i go to play it and my psp games arent showing up, just ps1 so i go and check and its somehow back to completely stock firmware.

okay, so i see if despertar del cementerio is still installed, and it is so i try to reinstall 6.61 ark, no dice, i get the error you see in the attached photo at like 90%. i try oem 6.61, same error at the same place. i try to boot 6.61 ark from the sd card, this works and gets me into the xmb but if i try to run cipl, it says its successful but on reboot it just crashes and shuts off completely. now when i try to just turn the system on regularly the green light turns on then after about a minute it turns off and nothing else happens.

if i press the ps button and turn it on it'll boot and say sony computer entertainment then the screen just turns white for a sec and it shuts off. once doing this i got it to show the initial process when you first reinstall the os but the background was white instad of grey like usual then once i entered in the time and my name and stuff the screen went white again and just shut off.

at this point i have no idea whats going on or what to do so i'd really appreciate some help on figuring out what to do. never in my life have i had so many issues with psp modding as i have with trying to use ark5 this week.

TL;DR, i tried installing ark5 cipl following a mr mario tutorial and now my psp go wont turn on unless i open despertar del cementerio, and i cant even get to the os unless i open it from ddc, but i cant actually reinstall the os, i just get the error in the attached photo. when trying to turn the psp on now regularly now it just shuts off after a few seconds without even turning the screen on. even pressing the ps button and turning it on doesnt work because the screen turns white after the SCI splash and shuts off. please help!

Hi, I have a PSP 3004 running Pro C Infinity and I'd like to run ARK 5 CFW on it, but I don't know how. Is there a video or written tutorial in French? Actually, I'm a little worried about bricking it, but I admit that overclocking interests me, so I'm willing to try it. So there you have it. PSP 1000, pretty great condition, very minor scratch on the screen. I ordered a clear hardshell case
PSP case, new battery, charger, PSP volume/ headphone adapter, and 14 games was $125 and with taxes and shipping was $140. 4 of the games don’t work but I haven’t tested them out. Does that happen with some of the UMD games? Any advice on getting those working unless they’re a loss?

I just updated the software to 6.1 and looking at PSPunk to load some games into there. I see a lot of people on here doing that. Was also thinking about loading some music videos and movies I have on my iPod but I think I might need to Handbreak them into a different format?

Hey everyone!

I'm currently working on a small PSP homebrew project: a customizable lock screen.

This is mainly a learning project for me. I'm currently learning C and PSP homebrew development, so the code and the project are still very much a work in progress.

The functional side is already working:

- Password protection

- Custom password changing

- Persistent password storage

- PSP button controls

- SELECT to change the password

- L/R controls

- HOME to exit

In the video, the PSP displays “PASSWORD CORRETA”, which means “PASSWORD CORRECT”, and “PASSWORD ERRADA”, which means “PASSWORD INCORRECT”. The interface is currently in Portuguese because I'm from Portugal.

At the moment, I'm mainly looking for help and ideas with the UI/design. I want it to feel like something that actually belongs on a PSP, rather than looking like a modern phone UI.

I'm thinking about a clean XMB-inspired style with custom graphics, PSP button symbols, and eventually animations.

I'd really appreciate feedback on:

- Overall layout

- Colors

- PSP-style visual elements

- Animations

- Ideas for making the interface customizable

The long-term goal is to make the lock screen/theme system customizable so other people could create their own designs too.

I'll include a short video of the current version running on real PSP hardware, along with some design ideas/mockups.

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to put ark5 through iPhone ??

Bom dia a todos, pessoal comprei recentemente um psp 2000 slim e resolvi baixar uns jogos e transferir para ele , comprei cabo de dados e cabo otg novos são bons os cabos , ao tentar transferir qualquer coisa da erro não passa de 10% a foto como é leve ela chega a transferir porém quando chega no psp está corrompido, não sei mais o que fazer , tenho espaço livre do cartão também. Fora que depois que dá erro o psp fica naquela tela "por favor aguarde" e desconecta do celular.
