is the current climate a good opprtunity for a garowe xamar decoupling?

the international community seems to have been putting pressure lately for a one somalia model, however have now gotten soured on the idea after the road blocks, and immaturity from xamar, is it a good time to garner their acceptance of a decoupling, and a two track system? aid going directly to garowe, and ofcourse decoupling in the rest of our institutions down from that

The Taiwan Model: how a disputed, partially-recognized territory built a $700B economy — what can Puntland learn?

Taiwan operates as a de facto independent state despite disputed international status. It built world-class semiconductor, electronics, and manufacturing industries. It maintains its own military, currency, passport, and trade relationships. Taiwan never waited for Beijing's permission to develop. The parallel for Puntland: stop waiting for Villa Somalia's permission to build institutions, attract investment, and negotiate directly with foreign partners. The HSM administration's approval should not be a prerequisite for Puntland's development.

Questions for the community:

  1. What would it take to make this happen in the next 5 years?
  2. Which country's model fits Puntland's situation best?
  3. What can diaspora Puntlanders do right now to push this forward?
