Player Versions

Nike ended the 20+ years old partnership with their strongest lineup. Up to this point it was mostly a hit and miss between the home and away kits for each competition cycle, but this pair are still some of the most popular jerseys I see on the streets.

On both jerseys, the Portugal crest and the swoosh are heat pressed and made of a rubber material. The red background on the crest is actually a layer of fabric, on top of the jersey's fabric.

The home is very simple but the knitted neckline and sleeve ends elevate it for me. What the home lacks in complexity, the away makes it up with a screen printed pattern inspired by traditional Portuguese tiles. 

They’re player versions in size XL. Their chest measurements are the same at around 54 cm wides. If you are skinny and like a tight fit you can go with your normal size on this, but if you prefer a little bit more roomier slim fit it’s best to size up once. That's what I did.

They have very simple necklines, but they’re fitting on point.

Since they’re players, their fabric is the more thinner and breathable kind, and features Nike's jacquard for their authentics kits from this season/competition cycle.

Got a couple kits for the new season coming from JJXCC! Got some from teams that are not our traditional big teams but really liked these off first impression when seeing them on FootyHeadlines and FootballKitArchive!
