EDIT (to make clear from a person's comment): Also this does not use ECS Source code, Roblox 2016 source code was pretty unoptimized. This project is also just a reoptimization of the whole platform, and also to avoid copyrighted code haha

I am starting to progress pretty well in development and also I have the original roblox 2016 physics engine ported into wasm. And the lua engine is somewhat done, i just need to support a bit more thread based stuff which is pretty cool stuff. Also humanoids are somewhat done, only walking and balancing work though other humanoid states are gonna be done pretty soon

I'm currently writing to r/modernrobloxrevivals as it appears the original roblox revivals sub reddit is private and I have deemed this reddit to be suitable enough for this post.

Anyways, its been two years ever since I originally announced the existence of Silk Blox (an ambitious revival that aims to emulate both the infamous Silk Road Drug Site and Old Roblox into one site, creating a unique experience that has yet to be provided by any other revival) and since that announcement post, development has started, stopped, started, stopped, started- you get the picture and well.. After several months of trying and failing, the think tank was successful in breaking their development hell loop and.. I proudly present to you... Something, great... Something so good, you'll be truly hyped by the news... I present...

A Date... Specifically.. July 22nd, 2026! On what will be happening on this date will be rather obvious to most... May it be a possible release date or further news of a release date, time will tell! Please do note, we are currently not hiring Staff or anything of the like and Silk Blox will be a key-based revival to prevent undesirables from entering the community. Silk Blox goes by a golden rule of "don't be retarded" and that all administration rulings are final. This means that players should use common sense and tread lightly. If you're unsure if you're breaking server rules or not, feel free to ask Staff and they're more than welcome to help! One of Silk Blox's biggest praises is the fact that majority, if not, all staff members are people who have never played revivals before! Most Staff members will most likely have Silk Blox be their very first revival which allows users to face little to no discrimination by staff solely for acquiring a bad reputation in other revivals. Don't worry, although most of them haven't played a revival, they all understand and can carry out the basic duties of moderators at ease.

I personally hope everyone will enjoy Silk Blox when it may or may not be coming out on the 22nd of July and surely pray that the two years was surely worth the wait!
