Does anyone know what to do when it starts falling off? Is there a way to fix it, I'm going to contact the company but I've heard horrible things about their customers service. To me it seems like the adhesive cannot handle summer, I'm in PA and it's been about 90° the past 2 days.

I had a serious issue with my S3XY strip — it was clearly a manufacturing defect. I provided clear photos and even linked a YouTube video of another customer experiencing the exact same fault.
I contacted support with all the evidence, and instead of helping, they started gaslighting me. They flat-out denied anyone else had the problem and arrogantly claimed it was my fault for “not installing it correctly.” Absolute bullshit.
After two weeks of complete radio silence, I ripped that piece of trash out because it was irritating the hell out of me.
Now I get an email saying they’ll send a new one… if I pay them €50.
This company is a fucking joke and will never get another cent from me.

They are never earning money from me again.

I haven’t seen this issue here, but if it has been asked, please link to that thread. I have a newer MY Performance, and I just received my dash. I got the updated commander cable (HW4.5) a few weeks ago, and the commander is now working great.

I keep trying to add the dash to my commander, but after a bit, it just says “coming soon”. I see lots of other people showing their days working, so I’m not sure why I am getting this. I’m betting it is updated, running firmware 6.4.5.

I have done the BLE firmware update twice; it says successful both times. I emailed support a few days ago, but have not heard anything from them.

About 20% of the time when I use the left turn signal (on the left stalk), it just fails to do anything. It's odd because the right turn signal (also on the left stalk) works 100% of the time. The right stalks (drive/reverse) also work 100% of the time.

I've tried everything to try to solve the issue to no success:

• Factory reset commander
• Remove commander and reinstall Android app, re-added back in commander
• Remove both stalks from the app and re-added it to the app
• Pressed the left hand stalk button for 15 seconds before re-adding it back in on the app
• Swapped out batteries between right stalk and left stalk
• Replace batteries with a different brand (Panasonic - which might have made the problem worse, from a 10-20% left turn signal failure rate to 20-30%.

I've reached out to Enhance support and after about a week they told me to just work with the US distributor I bought it from - but the US distributor obviously has no clue how to fix this better than the actual manufacturer.

Any ideas?

Before I go through the whole installation process, any reason I can’t mount it here as pictured, just above the air vent, on the top of the dashboard piece but closest to the steering wheel? This is much closer to the steering wheel than the officially recommended position close to the windshield, but it avoids blocking the air vent.

The only thing I can think of is that some people might find the cord a bit unsightly, but I don’t think I care about that as much. But other than that, is there some other reason I can’t/shouldn’t mount it here? I will likely be using the standard provided mount, since I haven’t explored the world of 3-D printing.

So this happened today, im always very careful with my things, specially with this car since its brand new, used the stalk like any other day and it just crumbled under no pressure.

Looked up into it and TONS of people posting this same issue, they all have the exact same point of breakage as mine, their discord is full of this same issue, im talking dozens of posts.

Anyone been thru this and can share what to do/who to contact? Do they warranty it? Do they send a new one?
It has less than 6 months.

Also theres some sort of discoloration/texture issues at the base of the stalk aswell, both seem to be peeling or delaminating around where it broke, my index finger is pointing to it.

I’ll explain why I think this is the best mounting position:

1. Advantages over installing it near the windshield:

A. You can actually use the touchscreen comfortably.

B. The screen is easier to read because it’s closer to you.

C. The screen benefits from the A/C airflow. I also suspect that mounting it near the windshield could damage the dash over time, especially in cars exposed to extreme heat.

2. Advantages over installing it near the steering wheel with the original mount - the other option Enhance originally recommended:

A. It blocks the A/C dramatically less, which is a big deal in hot climates. Just look at the image and see the clear path of airflow above the dash...

B. The screen is even closer, making the touchscreen easier to use and the display easier to read. The dash is now precisely the same distance as the Tesla 15" screen, which also gives this setup a more OEM feel.

3. Compared to both alternatives:

A. There’s less to worry about if you ever want to remove the mount, since it’s attached to a cheap plastic part that is easy to clean or even replace.

B. The dash stays visible regardless of steering wheel height (since it moves with the steering wheel), so it works with basically any steering wheel position.

C. The impact on the car’s interior appearance is very minimal.

That said, we still need a proper mount rather than the improvised setup I’m using now, because the screen can wobble on bumpy roads. But on my Model 3 Performance Highland, this is currently the best solution I’ve found, hands down.

Hello s3xy fellows!

Since I got the s3xy dash (2nd batch) I always struggled with its support arm for 2 reasons:

1. The glue kept unsticking from the trim, even though I did everything as instructed;

2)I couldn’t find a nice incline on the adjustment that would allow me to see the screen properly. I had to choose between it being too downward-facing (which led to bad viewing angle) or to have part of the screen being blocked by the steering wheel.

Therefore, I’ve ordered a Spigen car phone holder that goes exactly where the s3xy dash support would, but with no glue, it simply “clicks” into place on the trim.

Check the photos on the final result.

Conclusion: It fixes the 2 issues I mentioned above!! With this I have way more adjustment positions, including a lower one. The magnet on the holder perfectly matches the magnet on the back of the dash. It’s not going anywhere!
