Do any other petite women struggle more with work trousers than jeans?
I can usually find jeans that are "good enough."
Work trousers are another story.
It's always one of these:
- Waist fits but they're 5 inches too long.
- Length is manageable but they're tight through the hips.
- Size up and the waistband gaps.
- Hem them and somehow they still look... off.
I recently found out that shortening trousers doesn't fix where the knee break sits or how long the rise is.
Apparently, most trousers are patterned for average-height women, so altering the hem only solves one part of the problem.
I'm curious what everyone else does.
Do you just accept tailoring as part of buying trousers?
Or have you actually found brands that make good petite workwear?
