We are a small yet growing active community, we are starting our new modded SMP this weekend and looking for new people to join us for the ride!

We have many mods centred around exploration, technological development (mekanism / create), farming and plenty of boss fighting opportunities to suit every playstyle! Whether you feel like exploring the vast world or hunting the strongest bosses we have a place for you.

Are you tired of servers with loot boxes where you have to pay to make progress? Do you miss just playing on an ordinary Minecraft server, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people?

Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

MicikSMP is mainly a peaceful survival server, but there is a way to do anything. We do not plan to reset the world, because we believe if players build something, it should last longer than a few weeks or months.

Most things on the server are made by players, for players. The server staff also organizes events, auctions, quests, and other activities.

We try to keep the server vanilla-ish. We only try to add features that fit in Minecraft, and we avoid things that feel too much like cheats or things that could easily be done with normal commands or vanilla systems.

The server is balanced between peace and conflict. By "peaceful", we mean low toxicity and no pointless edgy behavior, fake superiority, or annoying sarcasm just to look cool.

We are looking for players who actually want to stay. If you plan to play for one month and then quit without really exploring anything, this server probably is not for you. MicikSMP is centered around long-term progression, discovery, history, and things that most casual players never reach in their survival worlds. If you're looking for player-filled servers, the server isn't for you either.

We also expect basic competence. For example: if you decide to leave, it helps if you tell us why instead of disappearing or blocking people for no reason, as feedback helps us improve the server.

Gameplay options include:

👑 Politics — server politics and custom player-made states, not fully based on real life.
🔨 Professions — roles and jobs players can take part in.
📖 History and archives — the server has a rich history, although sadly not every book or historic item was saved.
⚙️ Map making — create maps in a separate creative dimension.
💡 Minigames — player-made minigames built in survival.
⚖️ Laws and courts — rules, trials, punishments, and political systems.
📣 Events — any player can create events.
📜 Story seasons — scripted story arcs that do not reset the world.
🪇 Quests — progression that guides you through the server’s gameplay options and toward 100% completing the server.
🗡️ Normal survival — play with friends, explore custom structures, and find a few custom items.
