Iceberg

Hello Friends, I joined this subreddit not only to learn and be able to talk about this category (as soon as I start to see and understand it), But for now I just need your help for a very important project of mine.

I'm trying to do a project that's based on an iceberg of motorsport in general (Drift, Open Wheel, Rally, GT, etc). And at this point, I'd like to ask you, what have been the most historic moments in the category? Whether they're epic moments, rivalries, controversies, including funny moments, coincidences, or simply memes related to the category, etc. It can be anything. While you're at it, it would be a huge help if you could send me links to information or simply tell me what happened that time.

I'm doing this whole project mainly to raise awareness of motorsports in the Spanish-speaking world (As you can see, I'm from Colombia). And thus enable more Spanish-speaking people to understand or learn about other categories besides the main ones (F1, Indycar, etc.).

So your contribution would be a great help to a project that I consider important to me. So I would be very grateful if you could be a part of this project 🥹🫶

US Nurburgring Coverage - Racer+ Needs to go

Racer+ Network subscriber… jokes on me. Commercial breaks every 5 minutes interrupting the broadcast. This is a horrible service and have canceled; never coming back. Pure greed.

I bought the 2026 SUPER GT official guidebook and this month's auto sport.

Hello from Japan🎌
I bought these books at a bookstore near my house.
The main contents are analyses of the 2026 machines and interviews with GT500 engineers about engine and aerodynamic development.
Personally, I'm happy that a 2026 calendar was included as a bonus.I'll put it on my desk.
sorry my bad english. m(_ _)m

I want to go see the race at Sportsland SUGO this year, looking for any tips

So I will be in Japan in september and so I decided to go see the race. The main problem is I have no idea how to get there. I will be mainly in Tokyo. I know there's a Shinkansen to Sendai but I don't know what I will have to do next. Is there a bus I can take? Maybe some ride share app popular in Japan? I want to avoid rental cars cause I am scared of driving on the left side lol. Thanks for any advice :)

Planning to attend Round 8 at Motegi this year, looking for tips

Hey Everyone! My wife and I are planning our first trip to Japan, and we're going to be attending round 8 at Motegi. I'd really like to be there both days of the race if possible, and we're trying to decide if it's worth 'moving' from Tokyo closer to the track for a couple days (before heading to Kyoto), or if we can transit from Tokyo to the track without having to spend 8 hours each day on busses and trains.

I've come across some articles, but nothing newer than 3 years old. We tried google mapping it, but the route seems weird with a straight line that appears to take the bus under the track and I don't quite trust it lol.

Any other tips about getting around the track and helpful things to bring (earplugs? blanket? empty suitcase for merch?) is welcome as well!
