Has the game gotten significantly easier to win even on ‘hard’ mode versus the old normal standard version? Just got back into playing turtle pack and have won 19/20 games, has pool gotten much worse or something?
I redownloaded the app on my phone and it’s still different
Must be why it takes so long to get Versus matches if the player base isn’t all on the same weekly pack
For me:
T1 - Otter
T2 - Worm
T3 - Skeleton Dog
T4 - Siamese Cat
T5 - Crocodile
T6 - Behemoth
Context: I first played to get every pet to level 3, not caring about winning really.
Now I’m almost fully ribboned (not hard mode), at 511/536 so I’m more concerned with winning. I do it in custom and I love scaling, makes it so much easier to win with either those low tier pets or just the shitty higher tier ones.
I always mess up the flounder towards the end
Here's my team for finally getting good dog both achievements in the same run. This was the weekly. I had to sandbag my team to take 2 losses. I went owl and used the goldfish to rebuild the team. 4 chocolates 2 bad dogs. Got it to level 2 before using the holy water.
Just started playing this past weekend and am having a blast! I just surprised myself with 10 wins in 10 games on Hard difficulty. Do I "get" the game now? Or was this just lucky?

Specifically in terms of mechanics / builds.
I already have a level 3 mouse when I bought the bison, but it somehow never triggers in this game, not even the “failed to trigger” animation is played. Is is bugged? Is it something related to the White Truffle.

Some things I liked, some things not so much. Overall, it was fun. The first match was pretty close.
