Playing Brawl Stars via switchroot on a modded switch

Hi,

I have a question about playing Brawl Stars on a modded Nintendo Switch running Switchroot Android.

The idea is to boot into Android on the Switch and install Brawl Stars officially from the Google Play Store (not using a modified APK or an Android emulator on PC).

Does Supercell treat this as a normal Android device, or could it be detected as an unsupported environment?

I'm asking because I know Supercell has recently taken action against platforms and third-party software that modify or interfere with the game. Since Switchroot Android runs Android directly on the Switch rather than emulating Android on a PC or modifying the game itself, I'm wondering whether this setup is considered safe or if it could still put an account at risk.

Is anyone here currently playing this way ? Have you experienced any warnings, suspensions, or bans, or has everything been working fine after using it for a while?

Thanks in advance!

Another kamikaze, who else agrees?

I’m at a point now where I no longer care for bragging rights on how the hole looks. Accuracy is cool! Don’t get me wrong. But functional kamikaze methods are what matters. At first I was into the whole “OH LOOK HOW SMALL MY KAMIKAZE WAS!” Now I’m like, “eh. Who cares” it gets covered anyway with solder mask after the wire is attached. And likely never to be seen again. Am I the only one? First pic is when I was really trying hard to make the smallest possible. Second is one I did today. Both successful, both completely cover in mask after. Thoughts? Do you think it matters? Or is it purely bragging rights.

I installed mods for *Animal Crossing: New Horizons*, but it gets stuck on the loading screen.

I've installed several mods, but even with just one lightweight mod, it works well until the island loads. help me

I'm using an emu and have already updated the app.
The system's performance is being improved using sysclk.

Linage OS need to know before doing it myself

So there are 2 types of tutorial I see online

https://youtu.be/dXiv5cbBrF8?si=jXCJWH-YHrzA-KDw

And

https://youtu.be/2hJxpotMdmA?si=kudwdhszpr8D77EI

One of them use application and the other doesn't. I can understand that.

My question is..

One of them (the first link) needed to get the mind the gap to get the Google playstore

While the second video doesn't explain.

So which one is correct and another question was I heard u can connect to wifi in linage OS is that true?

3rd party joycons doesn't work well on Linux

So, my Nintendo Switch has only third party joycons and unfortunately I don't have the og ones. It doesn't work at all on the rails, and when I connect via bluetooth, it does work, except the deadzone of the analog sticks are wrong, leading to a constant drift.

I managed to somewhat mitigate the problem by recalibrating the joysticks with jscal, which solved the drifting problem when moving the mouse with the joycon, but programs like Steam and other games still insists on reading the raw outputs of the joycons instead of the newly calibrated values.

As for the joycons not working on the rails, I figured out that some error messages were outputting on the dmesg logs, in a constant loop:

[ 1281.587522] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Joy-con MAC = 86:10:67:67:8F:F8
[ 1281.587578] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Increasing Joy-con baud to 3000000bps
[ 1281.592777] joycon_serdev serial0-0: completed handshake - Joycon
[ 1281.594047] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Detected right joy-con
[ 1281.595344] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Using user cal for right stick
[ 1281.801606] joycon_serdev serial1-0: Received pkt is malformed
[ 1281.817468] joycon_serdev serial1-0: Packet length too large; ignoring
[ 1282.858551] joycon_serdev serial1-0: Received pkt is malformed
[ 1282.874721] joycon_serdev serial1-0: Packet length too large; ignoring
[ 1283.657292] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Failed reading SPI flash; ret=-110
[ 1283.657465] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Failed to read stick cal, using defaults; e=-110
[ 1283.818549] joycon_serdev serial1-0: Received pkt is malformed
[ 1283.835315] joycon_serdev serial1-0: Packet length too large; ignoring
[ 1284.169305] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Failed to enable rumble; ret=-110
[ 1284.169451] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Returning to low baudrate for detection
[ 1284.169673] joycon_serdev serial0-0: Failed post handshake procedure; ret=-110

However, somehow, there was a moment where only the left joycon was working on the rail, with all buttons and joystick mapped and correctly working. Which leads me to believe that if I somehow could modify the joycon drivers to make it work properly...

Mariko+ SOFTMOD

I know it’s practically impossible without a Modchip, and since that’s the case, I want to be the one to figure it out so I can get bragging rights, I’ve read about the boot and dump system to kind of get a basic grasp on the Mariko model’s boot up process, and wondered, if maybe installing everything pico has in a game cartridge kind of like an R4 but just in an injector kind of way if that makes sense. The idea itself is still just a rough concept, Ideally I want to connect with any likeminded people that would like to form a coding team to softmod OLED and ALL Mariko+ models for the poor souls that bought a Mariko model and wish to mod it without wanting to spend the money or learning to solder(although it’s still possibly a cheaper option than any of this work)

Feel free to drop thoughts, ideas or if ur interested in figuring this out :)
