Vignette not sticking

Hello all!

After 48h my vignette is starting to peel off by itself. Any suggestion?

Can I just juse adhesive tape to prevent complete peel off? Can it be peeled off, re-glued and re-attached (I know that's illegal, I'm just asking if anyone did it successfully)? Or I just wait until it flies away and just re-buy another one?

Yes, NOW I know about e-vignette, sticking under the saddle, etc... In my defense, I read carefully the back of the vignette and it said nothing about motorcycles. I saw others with vignette on fork, and I did it before thinking twice.

How I was supposed to know the glue would not stick? I cleaned the surface before.

Edit: glue is on correct side. Proof: it didn't stick to my fingers while laying it down, but initially sticked to the fork.

Fear of heights - Gotthardpass on a motorbike

Hello everyone,

I’ve ridden my motorbike all over Europe and have been over the Gotthard Pass many times. In September, I’m taking a trip from Germany to Lago Maggiore with my girlfriend, who’ll be riding her own bike.

She has a severe fear of heights and asked whether she’d be okay riding over the pass or if we should take the tunnel instead. The problem is that I don’t have a fear of heights myself, so it’s hard for me to judge. In my mind, the road and the views are fantastic, but those same views might be exactly what could trigger a panic attack for her.

Does anyone here have any experience with this? I don’t really fancy taking the tunnel, but obviously her safety and comfort come first.

TL;DR: Is the Gotthard Pass manageable for someone with a severe fear of heights, or is the tunnel the better option?

How do you deal with the CH sticker when riding abroad?

I'm going to ride abroad for the first time and my route is taking me through Italy, which is apparently quite strict with the sticker, apparently handing out fines pretty liberally even if I'm using the small CH sticker.

So, how do you handle the CH sticker? Where do you put it or should I just not worry about it and go with the small one?

Wie macht ihr das mit dem CH Kleber im Ausland? Ich fahre in den nächsten Tagen das erste mal im Ausland, vor allem in Italien wo sie angeblich relativ strikt sind mit dem CH Kleber und geben Bussen auch für den kleinen Kleber.

Wie handhabt ihr das also mitem Motorrad im Ausland? Wo/ wie klebt ihr den Kleber an?
