I got tagged in this post about identity verification, and i am extremely skeptical. It claims it's official but it doesn't seem like an official tumblr staff account? All that they've reblogged aside from this is some anime shit (probably Genshin Impact). Is any of this legit?
I have a good following on my account and I average at about 10 likes within the first minutes of posting and 60-100 within the day, and I receive about 100+ related messages. so why has my latest post been up for 30 min with absolutely zero engagemen?
So, this tumblr user followed me (not disclosing them in case they are a real person with no malicious intent) and I checked through their blog and it was just reblogs. I decided to follow back and they DM'd me a few minutes later with questions like how are you, age, etc. But I had a bad gut feeling about this person because I had dealt with similar people who have done the same only to ask for money to draw my favorite character. So I panicked and blocked them. Does this person sound like a scammer/bot, or did I just block someone who's probably just new to Tumblr?
I want to check if a comment I might have made on a post was deleted by the post author. Is there a way to see that and the comment in question? Thank you very much.
I can’t reblog a certain blogs content or DM them, but it says I’m still following, I can still like their content and inbox them.
What’s going on?
I have had a Tumblr account for like 12 years, never used it because on the app nothing would ever load and on PC I couldn't search for anything.
To this day I get emails to my inbox, from Tumblr about "you could like this", so clearly it still thinks the account is active.
Wanted to log in today, and was met by "change your password". They sent me a Link, the old password was automatically filled in, but I erased it and put a new one in.
It's getting longer and longer, it's currently at 26 characters (lower case, upper case letters, numbers, signs) as it is always "too short".
Help?

My "for you" dash is showing me 80% posts I've already seen over the course of days with very few new ones sprinkled in. I've turned off "Best stuff first" in the settings, I'm having this issue on mobile and desktop, I've refreshed my dash, restarted my app, my phone, logged out and logged back in again and nothing is resolving it. It's driving me crazy! Is anyone else dealing with this issue?

I have an old tumblr account. From time to time I post a few things, I have 4k followers (most of them dead by now), but I get no likes or traction. Would it be better to delete it and create a fresh account?
My Tumblr account was suspended recently, and I honestly don’t understand why.
I’m an artist and I mostly post my own artwork. I haven’t posted prohibited content, and I’m not a bot. I already submitted a message to Tumblr Support asking for a review, but I’m worried because I don’t know what caused the suspension.
Has anyone here dealt with a mistaken Tumblr suspension before? How long did it take to get a response, and is there anything important I should mention in the appeal?
I’d really appreciate any advice.

So... A person asked me whether my commissions are open in private chat. Im a small artist, so it was kind of surprising. Their profile looks empty aside from many liked artworks and many followings. They asked me to draw their friend as a private commission (which seems kind of sus to me because usually scammers ask to draw their pets/friends) and now they ask to move to another app. How likely is it a scam?

I tried googling this & couldn't find the answer. On my pinned post I have a link to another post on my blog. When I click it, instead of showing it on my actual blog, it goes to the janky dashboard version of my blog. How do I fix this?

My Tumblr account seems to have been restricted after I sent the same link to a lot of people in a short period of time.
It's been about two days now, and these are the issues I'm having:
- My message/chat bar has disappeared.
- Comments/replies I've made on posts are no longer visible.
- My posts don't show up under any tags I use.
- Other people can't seem to find my tagged posts either.
I assumed it was a temporary restriction and waited, but nothing has changed.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is this Tumblr's spam filter, a shadowban, or something else? Did it resolve on its own, or did you have to contact support?
Ok so I know how to blacklist tags but is it bad that I’m just… curious to see if certain tags of mine are the ones being blocked?
And basically trying to find out if the reason I’m not getting a lot of… interaction with followers (I have an rp blog) is that I’m either shadowbanned (unlikely since I’m getting likes and replies in the comments section in some of the community posts I interact in) or if… there’s a way to see if certain tags were blacklisted?
Specifying rn that I’m not trying to find out who blocked it, I’m just… guess… trying to find out what I’m doing wrong.
