Help my entire home is gone??

Was out of town for the last few days and on the way back noticed that my Home in the Home app is completely empty. All of the rooms are still there but they are empty. My Apple TVs and HomePods still show up, just not third party accessories and no automations. I had a ton of accessories setup into scenes and automations and it would be a huge ordeal to have to redo all of this, especially when I have no idea how this happened in the first place??

Persistent iOS 27 developer beta bugs

So far since installing the beta, I noticed a few days later I was watching YouTube and I kept misclicking on the UI. My ATV 4k 3rd gen is running slower than usual, apps take longer to open, I frequently slide all over the place with the touch pad (which wasn’t an issue before- I’m trying to click on something and the input takes a half second to register), and it’s not my remote, because I tried the remote app on my iPhone and my Apple Watch, same issue. The consistent AirPlay issue is huge. I have to do a hard reset every time I get the error. Today when I turned on the ATV I got the message instantly as usual, but it also turned the screen black. I was pressing all the buttons and eventually got the profile select screen but I couldn’t press anything. This beta has more problems than features.

26.6 public beta issues?

My main ATV is having a HDMI-CEC issue that I’ve read could be a bug. Considering installing 26.6 to see if that fixes it. I have 26.6 on my iPhone 15 pro without issues but just curious about tvOS. Thanks

Is anyone been experiencing quitting from YouTube or other apps? I’ll be in the middle of a video or something and it quits.

Unable to connect AirPlay and automatic quits

AirPlay Unable to Connect Error Pop Up

My ATV 4K (whatever the ‘newer’ one is).

The ATV updated to the newest beta and ever since then we keep receiving this error.

As soon as we click ok , it disappears then pops right back up. Tried restarting, clicking ok at least 50 times. Restarted twice. Finally, on the third restart after clicking ok around 10-15 times it went away and we could use the device.

Understand it’s a DB, so no worries from my side, but has anyone else had this issue?

New app to emulate The Frame without….the frame

What would you title an app that gives you ultimate control over the look of your TV? Built in art collections, textures, overlays, schedules, and tonsssss of other powerful customizations. Been working on this project for the last month and want to launch it soon!

Terrible streaming quality on tvOS 27

I noticed that my streaming quality looked horrible and pulled up the HUD stats, and sure enough a 4k Dolby Vision Netflix movie was playing back in 720p at low bitrate.

My appletv appears stuck in 720p as I saw similar data in the Fox One app watching 4k soccer. I have the typical settings set (4k60 SDR, match content/framerate as yes, 4:2:0). Wired ethernet on gigabit internet. TV is an LG G4 through an RZ50 receiver. The appletv replaced a nvidia shield pro that had super sharp streaming playback.

Has anyone seen anything similar? Any recommendations on how to troubleshoot?

EDIT: further troubleshooting - I did a 'reset video settings' and things worked for a bit. I saw 4k as the 'natural-size' and DolbyVision5 in the video format. However, once I launched the Fox Sports One app, it got stuck back in this unhealthy state. Resetting video settings again did not resolve it.

Tv os 27 update question

What are some bugs that are found on tv os looking as I am eager to update but I’m hesitant since it’s my main device, any slowdowns or apps not working properly in beta 2?

TVOS27 Beta 2 - Siri Hanging

When I press the remote side button I get Siri. However, when I ask something it hangs. I eventually get a message “Something went wrong. Please try again.”. Anyone else seeing this? If so, do you know a solution? I’ve tried turning Siri off and then back on per an internet suggestion with no luck.

Dolby Vision - Dark

Since beta 1 it looks like Dolby Vision is much darker/dimmer? Was hoping beta 2 might fix it, but it hasn’t. Content looks darker but even just being on the home screen is darker. Even SDR looks brighter toggling between formats. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same?

I have a 2nd gen Apple TV 4K and an LG OLED CX for reference.

Cameras missing since updating to tvos27

Basically as the title says, when using my Apple TV 4K on the tvOS beta as the main hub, all my cameras (Aqara) except my doorbell camera (Aqara) disappear from the home app. If I switch the hub to another Apple TV or HomePod running tvos26 they all come back.

Is anyone else having this issue, or possibly know how to resolve it?
