Heart
Her name is Kokoro. Ever since she was a kid, she was always an oddball. Everyone knew her and everyone talked about her in rural Japan. Her parents thought she had an evil spirit on her so they tried everything to fix her but it only made her worse. In reality, Kokoro wasn’t that weird at all. She just wasn’t like everyone else in her neighborhood. Eventually the pressure from her parents got to her and she ran away to Shibuya as a teen. She was quickly brought in by a group of gyarus and there she learned to express herself externally. Later as a young adult, Kokoro gets into a huge argument with the gyarus, forcing her to leave their circle. Years after that, Kokoro decides to form a support group kinda thing for alternative people wanting to experience themselves. Many people in Japan still give her weird looks but she knows that as long as she loves herself, their opinions don’t matter.
