What were your first few gaming platforms - computers, consoles, etc.?
I played on arcade style stand-up games in 7-11 stores, gas stations, arcades and the like before I ever played at home. Then Atari and Intellivision. Eventually a bit of basic programming on Atari 800 and TRS-80 allowed us to start making simple games like Snakes and rudimentary text based choose-your-own-ending rpg stories.
