Unpopular Opinion: Not every thriller needs a shocking twist. Agree or disagree?

I love a good plot twist as much as anyone, but I've noticed that some of the thrillers I remember most years later weren't necessarily the ones with the biggest twists.

Sometimes it's the characters, atmosphere, tension, or emotional impact that stay with me.

Do you think a psychological thriller needs a huge twist to be memorable, or are there other things that matter more?

Curious to hear what thriller readers think.
