Kale yeah! Bye bye food noise. What is new for you on Reta?

I wanted to eat this and I was willing to wait for two hours for the tofu to marinate in balsamic vinegar! When I started 3 weeks ago, the idea of this plate would turn my stomach. All I could eat was carbs. I had to force protein down and veggies had to be hidden under sauce or cheese.

Now I am eating this. Chocolate (my kryptonite) can be dangled in front of me and I am opting for nutritious options like this instead. Yes, I‘d choose kale over chocolate- read that again.

I notice that I prefer most food as close to natural as possible now. Watermelon radish is salted, kale has a drizzle of olive oil. What is this magic. My dessert? A cup of coffee with collagen.

Also when I go to SB now, I grab a large coffee with one sugar and pop in some collagen. Those sweet crazy things in venti can eff right off. I don’t recognize myself. And that’s a good thing.

I chose not to weigh myself for a full month after week one. Ill do a dexa scan instead, because I don’t want the weight overshadow all the amazing changes in behavior, mood and energy.

My protocol:
W1 .5 of Reta lost 3lbs
W2 .5 of Reta lost ? Found my knee caps
W3 .7 of Reta …

What are some changes that surprised you on Reta?
