Hi everyone! I’m Neetu Gupta, a Mathematics educator, researcher, and mentor. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from the University of Delhi and am currently pursuing my PhD in Mathematics.

I’ve qualified CSIR NET, GATE, IIT JAM, and NBHM, and have had the privilege of mentoring thousands of students through my work at Unacademy, Physics Wallah, and Chem Academy.

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with students preparing for competitive examinations in Mathematical Sciences, helping them strengthen their concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and navigate academic and research opportunities. My classes on Unacademy have crossed one million watch minutes in the past two years, and I’m always excited to interact with Mathematics aspirants and share what I’ve learned along the way.

Join me for an AMA here on r/UgcNet today, June 25 at 5:00 PM IST, whether you're just starting your preparation or planning your next academic step, I’d love to answer your questions about:

• UGC NET/CSIR NET Mathematical Sciences preparation
• IIT JAM Mathematics strategy
• GATE Mathematics preparation
• NBHM exam guidance
• PhD and research opportunities in Mathematics
• Building strong conceptual foundations
• Effective study planning and time management
• Common mistakes in competitive exams
• Career paths in Mathematical Sciences
• Staying consistent and motivated during preparation

Looking forward to your questions and an engaging discussion!

Where can I keep my phone and wallet. Going alone.

This is my first time going to an examination centre (40 kilometres from my home) alone and I am panicking about how to manage it all? Even if I leave my phone at home, I will still need to carry cash to be able to reach back home after the exams.

The admit card says there will be no provision for keeping stuff and to not bring anything with you but I need to bring some money (and if possible phone too because that will make me feel safe) to the centre. Please advise.
