Race entry sales getting out of hand

The number of posts on this subreddit from people trying to sell race entries is getting ridiculous. I think it really puts people off joining and just makes the community look bad. Anyone else?

Does home cardio eventually stop feeling mentally boring?

"I genuinely like the convenience of working out at home, but mentally I still struggle with boredom sometimes.

At the gym there’s at least some energy around you.

At home it’s just me staring at the wall trying not to check the timer every 3 minutes.

For people who do cardio at home consistently, did it eventually become easier mentally or do you still have to force yourself sometimes?

65k or 50k race in 100k build

Hi all,

I'm a realtively experienced runner and racer at trail marathons and long fell races but have signed up for a 100km race. This will be my longest race and I'm trying to do a proper training block rather than my usual go and run round some hills approach. I'm following the SWAP 50mile plan (roughly) with some tweeks for when I want to ride my mtb or just life/holidays throughs somethign more interesting or difficult up.

About 5weeks out from the race it suggests a 50km "race", would a 65km race be a bad choice? Would it be too much to recover from to finish the block off well? I've done the distance befoe but not for a few years.

What are peoples thoughts?

Highland Fling question

When (if ever) does the Highland Fling race sell out? I’m very tempted to give it a go this year, but want to see how I recover from the Wall in June because I would also like to do the Vitruvian Triathlon in September. The little common sense voice in my head is saying it may all be a bit much but I’m keen to capitalise on a good block of training so far this year!
