Welcome to the Union Arena Community!

Welcome to the Union Arena Community!

Whether you’re coming over from the previous subreddit or you’re completely new to Union Arena, welcome!
As the community continues to grow, I wanted to put together a resource post to help newer players find places to learn, practice, build decks, and connect with others.
One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about Union Arena is how willing people are to help each other improve. Whether you’re trying to learn your first deck or preparing for competitive events, there are plenty of great resources available.

Getting Started
If you’re brand new to Union Arena, my biggest piece of advice is:
Play a deck from a series you genuinely enjoy.
It’s much easier to learn a game when you’re excited about the characters and cards you’re playing.
Don’t worry about having the perfect deck immediately. Focus on learning:
Energy management
Raid timing
Trigger interactions
Matchup knowledge
Your deck’s overall game plan
A lot of improvement simply comes from getting reps in and learning from your games.

Online Play & Practice Communities
If you’re looking for games, testing, deckbuilding advice, or community discussion, these are some of the best places to start.
TCG Dojo
Probably the community I recommend most for newer players.
TCG Dojo has:
Friendly players
Deckbuilding discussions
Casual games
Competitive testing
Active community support
It’s a great place to learn the game while still having access to strong players willing to help answer questions.

Draw3
Draw3 is another fantastic community and one that many competitive players use regularly.
From my experience, it tends to lean more toward competitive play and ranked testing.
If you’re looking to challenge yourself and improve against stronger competition, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Experience Rick / Rumble Rama
Another growing Union Arena community that offers additional opportunities to find games and connect with players.
While I haven’t personally spent much time playing there yet, it’s another great resource for players looking to expand their practice opportunities.

Official Bandai Union Arena Community
For official announcements, product news, updates, and general discussion, the official Bandai Union Arena community is also worth joining.

Useful Online Resources
Deck Building & Card Database Resources
These sites are incredibly useful for:
Building decks
Sharing decklists
Browsing cards
Testing ideas
Learning archetypes
[https://exburst.dev/]

Asian Meta & Future Format Resources
If you’re interested in seeing decks, strategies, and cards that may eventually arrive in North America, looking at Asian results can be extremely helpful.
These resources allow you to:
Study future archetypes
See successful decklists
Learn upcoming strategies
Prepare for future releases
Japan : [https://torecards.com/unionarenatier/]
China : [https://deck.xingkaji.com/deck/#/pages/liqi_print/liqi_print]

Advice for New Players
A few things I’ve learned since getting into Union Arena earlier this year:
Consistency wins games.
Don’t overhaul your deck after every loss.
Learn why you lost before changing cards.
Play plenty of games before judging a deck.
Ask questions whenever you’re unsure.
The fastest way to improve is by playing, learning, and staying involved with the community.

What I’d Love to See Here
Let’s make this a place where players can:
Share decklists
Ask questions
Post tournament reports
Show off pulls
Discuss new releases
Help newer players learn the game
The stronger and more welcoming the community becomes, the better the game becomes for everyone.

About Me
My name is Grimkami.
I started getting into Union Arena in early 2026 and immediately fell in love with the game. Since then I’ve spent a lot of time researching the game, attending locals, testing online, building decks, and learning from players throughout the community.
I’m currently in the process of moving and getting settled into a new place, but once everything is set up I plan on creating more Union Arena content, including:
Deck discussions
Tournament experiences
Match analysis
Pack openings
Product reviews
Beginner guides
Competitive strategy content
If you ever have questions or just want to talk Union Arena, feel free to reach out.

Welcome to the community, and good luck in your future matches!

New Home/Helping out Newcomers

Hey everyone ! I got into Union Arena at the beginning of the year thanks to the resources of the previous subreddit and unfortunately we no longer have access to all the knowledge that helped me out, as well as newer individuals. I would like to make a even better subreddit than the last by doing all I can to post a ton of things I know or questions I may have to hopefully speed run the resources we lost and I hope others would do the same ! This is my first tcg ever so this means a lot to me and I want to be helpful to others like how others were so helpful to me ! Thanks everyone.

Bleach

The other subreddit has been made private, so I don’t have a place to share my progress. Currently working on a master set and I just finished collecting all 2 stars, including the Japanese exclusives, with Zaraki being the most recent. 🥶

Rare battle entrant question

My town is really small but I we are barely able to have rare battles.

Problem is both stores that hold them have the store owners enter them. Kinda a weird situation because both guys tend to behave a bit vindictive sometimes.

Can store owners even enter rare battles? I assume employees should be fine but owners?

Bandai App Rankings/Results

You all think the rankings and placing are fair on the Bandai app? Just asking cause during a rare battle the other day, the undefeated who lost ended up getting 3rd place because his first two opponents didn’t do well after.

It wouldn’t matter if we had 3 non-winner cards but no we only have 2.

How is everyone else's promo collection journey coming along? I tried to do locals once a week.

My older decks were not good enough to win many of the newer promos.

Reddit ReIntroduction - BastionCustoms!

Hi Everybody!

It seems like the subreddits have merged/switched over to here now, meaning all of my previous posts are no longer available.

I'm sure many of you are feeling similarly bummed out as it had a lot of very helpful information on ruling questions and the like, BUT, I'll instead view this as a new opportunity to reintroduce myself and what I do within the UA Community!

My name is Bastion! I make TCG Accessories, mostly geared towards Union Arena!
If you've ever grabbed from my shop, bastioncustoms.com, I'd absolutely love for your support in this reintroduction for those who haven't yet heard of yours truly! 😁✌️

I wanted to take this time and announce I've added a discount code: 'RedditReintro' to take $15 off all orders until June 12th, 11:59PM EST!

Seemed like a great way to get those of you who aren't familiar a great big 'Hey! And welcome!', and those of you who are a little bonus as well! 😊

I've added in some shots of playmats, customer appreciation, and some new goodies I've JUST released in the photos for a quick intro!

Thanks so much for your support!
-Bastion ☺️🙏

Previous Subreddit

Is it possible to leave the previous subreddit open? I feel that one contained so much information that it is kind of a let down that it is blocked and privated. Whenever I google something, chances are that the older subreddit already had some answer and when I click that link, its takes me to the subreddit has been set to private message. Its really tough googling questions about union arena now.

The TCG gawds have felt pity

Welp, since those of us that are into UA have seen our little corner of the TCG world invaded by the worst kind of turd .... It's been HARD GOING just to find product at all, let alone what you want.

My local store's ONE BOX finally arrived and this was in the FIRST PACK.

Holy shit

Kagurabachi

Does anyone see these English and Japanese boxes going past 300$-500$ once the anime drops or are they pretty much at there cap, do you believe Union Arena will do a second wave when the anime drops

Welcome to r/UNION_ARENA and apologies for any inconvenience/confusion

While starting from scratch is less than ideal, hopefully r/UNION_ARENA can serve as a new home for UNION ARENA TCG related things.

The subreddit will be a work-in-progress for a bit so things like appearance, automod, rules, etc will be changing with time.

While r/UNION_ARENA_TCG had a base community already, in the long run, r/UNION_ARENA will be more convenient and ideal for users to find.
