We're on vacation from the UK and have a spare night to fit in a stop between Portland and Walla Walla. Any recommendations for a stopover (along route 84), with great local places to eat, grab a drink etc?

Passing through town for an evening. Any recs on dog friendly winery or brewery spots? Burwood looks good, any suggestions welcome.
