Does anyone skate in Warrington?

I’m talking skateboard, cruiser board, inline or quads.

Looking to make friends who have the same interests as me :) EDIT to say I’m over 25 so hoping for people my age or older!

How to make friends in mid 20s?

Me and my partner have recently moved to Warrington area, we’re in our mid 20s. Both went to uni without our friends, made friends in uni, but everyone has gone their separate ways. All keep in touch online, but would be great to make friends to actually do stuff!

So how do you make friends in real life as a 24yo who works full time?

Driving standards

I don't mean to be negative. I recently moved to warrington and it's great. Friendly people, great places to eat and drink, dog friendly. I enjoy living here.

But my god. Some of the locals of Warrington need to re do their tests. Once upon a time I was a bus driver, I've driven all over the UK and although the standard has dropped massively in the country as a whole Warrington is by far the worst for it.

I cannot think why this is. It's just every junction someone pulls out Infront of me, roundabouts - forget it - all rules out the window. A lot of people don't even stop at red lights.

At first I thought it was just a minority of people and I was unlucky but it seems to be a daily occurrence.

Surely I can't be the only person that has noticed this ?

Making friends

Hi 21F just moved to warrington a couple months ago looking to make some friends! I’d like to go for drinks/coffee and just have a group of friends to hang out with on weekends/evenings.

I’m open to trying a new sport to meet people there too, so if anyone knows of any good clubs for newbies that would be helpful too.

Warehouse jobs without a driving license? (38M, considering Warrington)

Hey all, 38M here. I've been living in the UK for years already( Liverpool for a very long time already), but considering settling in Warrington specifically and want to get a feel for the place first.

Looking for warehouse jobs around the area that don't require a driving license — I don't drive, so I need something reachable by bus/walking or on a decent route.

My background is actually in kitchens (chef/kitchen work) and factories, so I'm open to hearing about kitchen/factory roles too if anyone's hiring, but mainly looking to get into warehouse work for now.

Also — as someone originally from another country, how welcoming would you say Warrington is specifically? Any honest thoughts appreciated, good or bad.

Thanks all!
