Housing

Hi I am 22 and a female , and I’m moving to Massachusetts from Virginia at the end of this month to start my new job as a Systems Safety Engineer in Woburn.

I’m looking for either:

🏡 A 1-bedroom apartment, or

👯‍♀️ A female roommate to share a 2-bedroom apartment.

My budget is around $1,900 (a little flexible for the right place). I’d love to live in Woburn, but I’m also open to nearby areas like Burlington, Billerica, Wilmington, Stoneham, Reading, Winchester, Medford, Arlington, or Lowell if the commute is reasonable.

I do have two small, very sweet, well-behaved dogs 🐶🐶. They love people, are house-trained, and don’t bark much. (Photos attached!)

I’m clean, respectful, easygoing, and hoping to find a roommate who’s also looking for a peaceful home—and maybe even a new friend. 😊

If you know of any available apartments or you’re looking for a roommate, please send me a message. Thank you!

Invasive plant removal

Does anyone know if there are currently any programs for invasive plant removal, or public volunteering for conservation efforts? Outside of the chestnut removal at Horn pond, I wasn't able to find much online. I'm interested in trying to dedicate some tree time to get rid of some of the Tree of Heaven, Knotweed, and Oriental bittersweet along the sidewalks since the town doesn't do much in this regard.

More Flock Cameras

Two more cameras just popped up at the corner of Montvale Ave and Nashua/Wood St.

I feel so "safe" going that we are all being tracked everywhere we go at all times without permission. This is getting insane.

The people who live at those houses must really love it, they have the police camera pointing right at their house 24 hours a day.

Flock Cameras are Here

I didn't think we had any of these. But they're painted all black and they blend in so well. Theres three on Montvale right by 93, I drive by them every day and never noticed until I saw them on the map. And yup, they're there.

Also one in the center. One on washington street by 128, one on 38 by the rotary. So if you drive through town, you're being tracked. But don't worry, only guilty people need constitutional rights, right?

Pediatrician Recs in/around Woburn

I just moved to Woburn from out-of-state with an almost two year old and a newborn. I’m looking for pediatrician recommendations in the area. They don’t have to be limited to operating in Woburn.

Our former pediatrician’s office had really great administrative staff; great hours and a very responsive after-hours triage nurse line; and a team of pediatricians, NPs, and nurses who never rushed an appt and were caring in their treatment. Hoping to find this level of care here.

Thanks in advance!

Door to door salesman

Has Moxie pest control been bothering anyone else? They are more pushy than the shit solar companies. I have no problem being rude to rude people but they got my friend when she was home alone, she said he was making her uncomfortable and closed the door. He laughed on the ring camera as he walked away.
