An 8 year old kid I know has expressed interest in learning French. He's very smart - taught himself how to read English completely on his own, so even though he has a speech delay, among other autism challenges, there's actual potential to learn a 2nd language while he has a keen interest in it. Duolingo is only getting him so far because there isn't a human to help him correct the pronunciations.

I thought I'd reach out on Reddit and maybe someone knows a high school or college student looking to make a few extra bucks once a week in the summer.

I have a vintage watch I’m looking to get serviced and a new crystal as the old one fell off making it unwearable. For the last 15 years I went to Swanson jewelers in Arlington, they had an old man who looked straight out of central casting as a watch maker. It sounds like he has retired. Anyone have any reputable recommendations in the area of Arlington, Winchester, Woburn, Burlington. Will travel if need be it’s a very sentimental watch.
