Push 11-6 on sb160

Found a push 11-6 shock on marketplace for 500 (normally 1300). Seller is the same bodyweight as me and even better, had it rebuilt specifically for his sb160. He became an affiliate for rockshox though and never actually installed it after the rebuild so I lucked out. First ride on it today and holy cow. Like riding on a cloud. Kind of makes my fork feel like shit now 🤣🤣 I highly recommend it for the coil lovers out there. If you can find a good deal on a used one and have push rebuild it for your specs its definitely worth it. Especially considering I got it for less than a fox dhx2 etc.

Thinking about clean air...

Was going thru my photos and found this gem.

2022 yeti sb140. 27.5 wheels.

Somewhere in Winter Park around Vasquez Ridge.

Creaky ASR

Anyone with an ASR have a creaky bike? I’m pretty sure I’ve narrowed it down to the shock mounts or linkage. I’ve tried taking the bolts and hardware out, cleaning, greasing, retorquing, etc. It goes away for a ride of two and always comes back.

When I apply opposite lateral pressure on the seat post area and rear wheel, it creaks every time. Shock off, no creak.

It is not the seat post as I removed it and it still creaks. Also not the rear axle.

Good Sunday!

After over a year and a half of suffering thru a little back injury (2 fractured lower lumbars, 3 herniated discs and 6 bulgers), my Dr. suggested that maybe I get an e-bike for some therapeutic help. Not sure If this is what he meant but, this Yeti LTe is just what the doctor ordered!😜

Thanks to “The Back Country” in Truckee!😊

Nbd!

Got sucked into the 🫈tribe‼️ Friend of mine said, “here, ride my bike!” Me getting home 😵‍💫😵‍💫 (was possessed by the yeti man). Two weeks later, here is this thing. Swapped out the handlebar to a carbon.

Sb120 shock

Looking for some advice. I’ve ridden my sb120 a total of 4 times (got it 9 days ago) and I’m bottoming out my shock every ride. I’ve increased the PSI to about 210, but it still bottoms out. I’m 6’1” and about 200lbs with gear. At 210 PSI the bike feels like it wants to launch me off of the seat when I hit a larger bump. I’ve adjusted the rebound to be right in the middle of the settings.

Can I add an air spacer? Mine has the fox float performance dps. Will this help? Or will it make the shock feel harsh? Is there some other shock that would be better? Or am I just not setting it up correctly?

I would classify the trails I’m riding as cross country, or at least I think they are.

Any help appreciated!
