Hi first timer here. My bf and I are planning to go to Zambales for our anniversary but we have no single idea what to do there, since summer time we're planning to go to the beaches obviously and ik there are many beaches around so can anyone recommend a good itinerary for first timers?

We're thinking of Victory Liner buses from Manila to Iba but if you have better suggestions pls do so thank you!!

Also if there is a zoo nearby that we can check i'd love to pitch that in as well :))

​We’ve already settled our accommodation (rented a beach house in Botolan for 3k), and we have a total food budget of PHP 5,000 for the entire trip.

​Here is our rough plan where we need your help:

​Day 1 (Botolan): Staying in at our rented beach house. Open to any local street food, snacks, or hidden gems around Botolan we should try!

​Day 2 (Liwliwa Food Crawl): My girlfriend really wants to explore the food scene here. We are staying from lunch, coffee, until dinner.

​Our specific budget constraint for Day 2 in Liwliwa is PHP 1,500 total for the two of us.

Day 3 (Back to Botolan) : brunch, quick swim, then pack up to go back to mnl

​We are targeting:

​Lunch (Budget: PHP 500 total): Looking for heavy local eats, silogs, or carinderias (heard Mommy Phoebe's or Hide In are good, any other recos?).

​Cafe/Coffee (Budget: \~PHP 350 total): Good iced coffee/vibes.

​Dinner (Remaining Budget: \~PHP 650 total): Casual eats, street food, grilling spots, or local favorites.

​For anyone who lives there, frequents the area, or recently visited—what are your absolute must-try spots or street foods that fit this budget? We’d highly appreciate your recommendations. Thank you!

Planning to move and retire in Zambales, sa may bandang San Marcelino, I’ve only been to Pundaquit and Olongapo once.

Since I’m living abroad sa mga youtube vids ko lang nakukuha at nakikita yung mga living situation tsaka yung vibe sa Zambales, so far naman nagustuhan ko sya since parang sobrang relaxed lang at nandun pa din talaga yung laid back energy and parang napupuno lang ng tao pag holidays?

Sa mga taga Zambales dito, kamusta ba talaga ang Zambales? Meron bang mga development or planned development outside Olongapo? Sa mga napanood ko kasi parang puro sa Olongapo lang ang mga target ng mga big companies na makapag tayo ng businesses nila?

Ang dami ko din kasing nakikitang mga nagbebenta ng lupain na ngayon sa murang halaga, dahil ba stale na ang Zambales or may iba bang dahilan?

Sa safety din, how safe it is to live there? Bihira naman din kasi ako makakita ng criminal activities sa Zambales sa balita.
