Would be nice if they found a way to blend her elegance and softness from season 1 with her more independent and smarter personality from the newer seasons. She's still a mermaid after all (imo, i think season 4 should've just had her legs retain her "mermaid tail" skin instead of becoming human skin, so that she doesn't just look like a literal human), but that's just my opinion.

In terms of the drawing I might fix the width of his left arm and fix the thickness of his "snout" (I accidently made it look a little too thin), but otherwise I'm happy with the drawing. (I have spent way too much time redrawing marina and sharko and zig over and over again, since late 2025. please help)
I have had this interpretation of him for a very long time, after I realized that I enjoyed the moments in season 1 when he was just lazy (like that time he woke up super lazy in the morning on marina's birthday, more funnier to me than his usual buff self). Honestly I don't mind both the Season 1 and Season 2+ counterpart, but I would love if they try out this "less visibly buff" and "laidback" version. Best way for me to describe this version of him would be: a couch potato who has an unmeasurable amount of strength when it comes to protecting Marina.
I'll likely demonstrate this interpretation of him in one of my projects soon lol.
THE ZIG X SHARKO SHIPPERS ARE EATING GOOD
So something that has crossed my mind recently while rewatching Z&S is just how weird Marina really is around Zig. The whole explaination on why she isnt afraid if him is because she sees his antics as a 'game', but in what kind of fucked up game would you get deep-throated by your 'friend' while you boyfriend tries to beat the living shit out of him? Marina always puts on this.. 'dull' face whenever Sharko pulls her out of Zig's mouth and it makes me really think that maybe, she actually does know Zig wants to eat her. She might actually be okay with this, cause everytime someone who isnt Zig tries to eat or kidnap her, she instantly does something about it (Veggiezig, The Conquistador). Honestly i have no idea why she WOULD be okay with this, but oh well. I guess that either she is insanely self-aware or really fucking stupid.
