Don't know what to think

37f had a PE at the end of March 2026. It seemed to coincide with my injection of a gnRH agonist, but today I spoke with a cardiologist who thought that my case is unprovoked because (even though I told him I have a sedentary job) he said that's not enough to start this sort of thing. I need a hematologist, to undergo genetic testing, etc. Then he also told me I may have some coronary artery disease which is likely genetic since it's uncommon to have placque show on a CT Angiogram at my age. He is comfortable pushing that out to the fall to follow up on. I'm scared.

I'm on eliquis. I'm also on day 2 of my first period in 2mo (February I started the gnRH agonist, by March my periods had ceased.)

I developed an eating disorder after my PE because I was scared of what I could or could not eat. I just started to get over that as my primary Dr just told me I should NOT be limiting sodium. I read though that those with CAD should limit sodium. I'm so confused. My lipids are not high and neither is my sodium. Most of the time it's even on the low end. I'm so anxious I don't know what to do.

I noticed since my diagnosis & treatment with eliquis I get diarrhea after I eat beef or lamb (the only red meats I prefer to consume.) I have not to my knowledge been bitten by a Lone Star tick and they're not documented as endemic or invasive in my area, although counties to the south of us report some invasive presence.

I have of course reduced my consumption of red meats on principle that I need to be as easy on my vascular system post PE as possible, but I reintroduced them recently and have noted a trend. Wondering if this is common or if I ought to go right to the theory of Alpha Gal Syndrome ? I've been stuck so much I try to avoid blood draws if it can be helped now.

37f, PE in March. Cleared it by April. Debatable if caused by 2 Zoladex injections or unprovoked. Most likely Zoladex as that was the only change at the time. (Estrogen blocker, due to endometriosis.)
